I've been using Flow since it launched and this upgrade is a VAST improvement to the initial no doubt thanks to all the beta testers that are involved in discussions in their "VIP zone" (myself included). Looking forward to when Flow is officially released and will happily pay for it when the time comes!
@uabtodd it's more like a NFC signal booster than an actual antenna. aka, less shielding in the right places where the antennae actually are.
@NathanAker This...is not possible without breaking physics lol. :)
This actually looks pretty damn awesome! I'd be down to get this over than that crappy "custom" razer maxx lol
One for each member of my extended family!
Looks awesome on paper. Let's see how it does in the real world...
@ZeeshanNaqash Have you ever tried their T series laptops for professionals? You could be speaking only from your experience with their consumer grade laptops. I've had no problems whatsoever from my T41 and T43 despite having been dropped and abused.
@DanDaniel Its ridiculous that there's a loophole that allows this. These kinds of disputes should be handled on companies' dimes...not on us as taxpayers AND as consumers! Essentially we're getting double whammy-ed by them.
Not a bad deal...only problem is it's not much more to just buy one outright if you're on T-mobile and at least have the HSPA+
@jhernandez4688 it comes down to carriers having to approve the software. Basically, Sprint did their jobs right and expediated the process, all the other carriers are probably loading random bloatware and/or blocking/limiting some features that they think will "lose" them money.
@TheDark_Knight Unfortunately, the G2 focused a little bit too much on looking modern than durability. The G1 had that spring loaded mechanism that kept the keyboard fairly secure whereas the G2's hinge relied too heavily upon gravity so if I were to pick up the phone from an upside down position, the screen would hang down and keyboard would be out when I turned it over. Don't get me started on the lack of 5th row on the G2's keyboard haha. It definitely was an awesome device though, lasted me almost a year before I snagged that hinge on a line and the phone went to two pieces :( RIP G2 (My G1 still ives strong though!)
