Presti is the only hope for anything to change cause brooks will just stay with his undying loyalty to perk and his bs lineups. He is the worst coach in the league when it comes to making changes on the fly
I really hope presti gets on da phone and just amnesty perk, he's does nothing now. He shows no effort, can't jump can't shoot and can't rebound. At least kristic and green could shoot. He's worthless and the only way for this team to make the next evolution is get rid of perk and trade for a big with heart like varaveo or bigs like big al or Aldridge. Two moves could brooks proof this roster cause they will have to win with a handicap coach
Its gonna b pretty bad when kd doubles up perk in rebounds this yr. just making it easier to cut him
I'll keep saying it everyday on this board. There will b another trade, probably by the trade deadline cause if the worst Toronto plays and idc if Dallas beat the lakers last night I think theyre not making the playoffs and if that happens those 1st rd picks get better every week and if teams like the jazz, suns, hawks or blazers get of to a bad start they will blow their teams up and presti will take full advantage and Martin could b part of the deal.
It's also bout upside and Magee doesn't have upside cause he doesn't want to have upside. He's happy just being a shot blocker with average post game and bein a headcase
Have u looked at what everybody is getting paid in today's nba. Players like Nicolas batum and javel Magee r getting paid more that perk and the same as ibaka and if kd had a Kobe sized ego off the court he couldve easily asked 20 a year easily but he took less early to keep the team together and hopefully the cap rises over the next few yrs

Possible, especially since he's already talking bout trying to learn the playbook but then again his length and athleticism is too good to keep on the bench all season

Blair and brand would b nice but big al or Aldridge would put fear in the league. Blair, big al and Aldridge all have been a thorn in this teams side for a while kinda like k mart has been. If rather have them on the team than yelling at the tv cause they're killing us

Same here, didn't he say he see himself now as a top 5 pg, hell he's not even the point guard on his team.
Especially now that he gets the 3 best guy instead of the best defender on a nightly basis. When they play the heat it would b chambers on him cause wade will guard Russ.
The Perkins injury is highly possible and that's what worries me. Collison and ibaka can play 5 but not against Howard. If perk comes out looking worse and thabeet just isn't ready I could see make a big trade( hopefully for al Jefferson or lemarcus Aldridge) or maybe some like Elton brand who has a one yr deal that I think is worth 2 or 3 mil or go after Blair from the spurs.
I really hope k mart is hearing everything people have been saying since this trade. He's good but not harden cause I really want him to prove the doubters wrong. He's doesn't have to b the man on this team and because of that I think he will b better health wise than he has been in years. I also hope brooks uses him more like ray Allen cause that would create more ball movement on the floor, which will make an offense that was in the top 5 last year even better
Trust me I really hope they at least try. Even matchup wise it works with Aldridge ibaka kd and Russ in the starting lineup and if they find a way to keep lamb and make him a shooter it would completely spread da floor
This deal is possible and honestly they don't need the picks, if one of them becomes a stud it will just lead to the situation that just happened. I'll ride out kd , Russ and ibaka for the next few yrs just put the right pieces around them but Aldridge is a game changer
I'm just gonna say I brought up presti making a move on Aldridge last night and this morning and I really think it will happen. Especially if Portland gets off to a very bad start again and if u made it a multi team move like with Phoenix or da kings they could ship Perkins too. And I think Aldridges contract is12 to 14 for the next 3 years, right around the range harden just turned down.
I still think we just set up a potential huge deal. Unfortunately we may have to wait till the trade deadline when a couple of teams r ready to rebuild. I'm hoping Portland craps out early so the Aldridge deal is possible
@OkcBaby I think he does cause nobody ever makes a move without a backup plan, especially when this team just got to the finals last yr. like I said earlier I think this deal had to do with Perkins too, he's just getting worst and I think presti knows it, he's just trying to fix one problem at a time and he just fixed one and now he's setting up his next move
