Last night sucked and yeah some things happened like the fact the refs are as bad as rookies as cole was or the fact the defense was bad last night but things will get better. The chemistry will return once everybody adjust back to their roles and this goes for brooks to cause hes gonna have to figure out rotations and when to use lineups based on needing stops or sparking the offense but with all the finger pointing going on from last nights game i will point out one person and that is serge. To me Serge is an all star on defense but a role player on offense. The reason I say role player is because a role player doesnt need others around him to get him going but when he gets going he can make an impact. Since he will never develop aback to the basket game. The only way he will produce on the offensive end will be with kd and russ getting him the ball early because those guys can get buckets whenever they want and it gives serge confidence for the rest of the game. Every championship team need at least a big 2 but it also needs at least 5 or 6 guys after that to show up consistently. My question to everyone isnt who are third best is but who are the guys you know can or will show up in the playoffs. If its less than 7 guys total that will show up for the playoffs the thunder will not win a title even though i know theyre more than battle-tested for it.

@kfmsooner he could but a russ, chandler, kd, ibaka and perk lineup hides perks flaws and could get off to good starts instead of the bench having to make the comeback themselves. the bench before russ was hurt did great so i dont see him changing it but i worry perrys mins could be gone.
11 months, 2 weeks ago on Thunder fall flat in the fourth again, 95-93 to the Nets
From what we have all seen from brooks up to this point with brooks is that he will never change and that he should give his coach of the year trophy to them. People have said it before but the time trade sef is now. They cant trade perk cause no one wants him for his price but sef could be traded cause teams around the league still think hes an elite defender. Im just throwing it out there but i think they could try to make a deal with denver. if they could trade sef and a pick for chandler it would give them another scoring option in the starting lineup, one less dead weight player brooks has a hard on for and his contract ends before they have to resign reggie or lamb
People should stop worrying bout whos gonna guard lma. Awesome he had a good game against a team in the 2nd game of a back to back, just like golden state did. So far this season they have played so teams pretty bad the first time but theyve looked better the 2nd meeting, especially on d. LMA got alot of wide open looks and hit some tough shots but im pretty sure its gonna b tougher for him next time

@ Luke @ch2 its not just that people get hurt all of the time., regardless of minutes. who knows though maybe this will half fisher more ready for the postseason than just having him start the season in march
@ Luke @ch2 i hope so but who knows guys half his age are getting hurt with ease right now
Just to make this clear perry needs more time but u dont wanna put him in a no one situation like having him guard lma. He needs to play and let fisher rest some cause im pretty sure he hasnt played 82 games since he was a laker and it displays perry enough to where if somebody value him more than the team does u package him for a real need.
@Kong Lambchop Anderon is a shooter but plays no low post d and u can put kd on him in a smallball line up and force him to guard kd or someone like lamb.
I wish adams wouldve got a shot at aldridge cause when somebody is shooting like that you have to try all of your options and you have to make an attemp to throw their rythym off and just like how fisher threw martin off during the minny game where he was getting wide open threes by getting in his grill and staying with him. it also couldve work with adams cause serge could be where hes at his best with the help side d
1 year ago on Thunder fail late in Portland, 111-104
@ocsooner @ch2 @Quetzalcoatl hes actuallyhas played the role he was given, guard that plays physical d and can hit a shot when needed.
@Quetzalcoatl @ocsooner i meant cant remember, my bad
@Old Man Game @ch2 its funny u say that cause im typing this from my ps4 lol
@Quetzalcoatl @ocsooner onlyt if brooks plays perry over fisher some nights to get him at least ready to be that guy to throw on bigger 3s and he does need to rest fisher some games cause idk how hes gonna be come playoff time cause i can remember when he played 82 games
@slowneasy @ch2 and that has become a problem.Brooks relies on three guys to do everything when he has more pieces that some coaches in the league has ever been given. Hes gotta be like a baseball manager where if the guys cold, getting burned on d or being perkins then u pull them. popavich does this all of the time and he may piss off his stars sometimes but they respect him and thats something i question with brooks and this teams some days.
@Hand down man down @ch2 yeah thabo should be able to handle it because he wouldnt have to guard their best guard and can take advantage of the lesser talent some teams benches will put out there
Another thing from last night that ive notice that i dont think kd and russ are use to having two other guys with serge on the floor that can handle their own. they still play iso ball regardless and its stupid. they should be able to move the ball around and take advantage of the mismatch on the floor. Like when gs tried to hide curry, minny with martin or last night how lopez and aldridge were guarding lamb or reggie.
Ok i havent posted on here in years but i gotta get this out there and by the way im a certain dorks roommate thats on here( yeah i exist). First off this game is just an example of the key things holding this team back from greatness. It used to be the bromance between perk and brooks but now its those to and thabo. Dont get me wrong the scott brooks this year has been better than finals brooks but his loyalty to the starting lineup is soo heavy now that kd russ and serge cant carry because perk and thabo are not the players they used to be. The 1st and 3rd quarters are the quarters that when im watching i feel they have to survive cause the starting lineup plays the majority of the time cause thabo and perk bring nothing but wide open looks from 3, turnovers and it becomes 3 on 5 out there. Brooks needs to bench one of them and if i had to pick it should b thabo because hes able to play with the bench at the 3 and let fisher start cause defensively hes better right now and hes a perimiter anchor on d. If brroks doesnt make a change then i can see thabo or maybe perk getting traded but i see it being thabo cause of the contract. If it happened i think afflalo cause he can stretch the floor from three, play d and his contract ends before reggies. If it took adding a pick and perry id do it because this team has its core for the next few years and no time for any projects or good draft picks to get good in 3 years. This team can win it all now and what we saw last night will not be the final product for the postseason(barring injuries) but perk and thabo arent gonna change or have a movie montage that has them get ready for the title run. Their burdens that kd russ and serge have to carry and thats a credit to them cause of what this lineup has done up to this point but brooks needs to man up and make the change so the chemistry of the move good by the postseason.
Presti is the only hope for anything to change cause brooks will just stay with his undying loyalty to perk and his bs lineups. He is the worst coach in the league when it comes to making changes on the fly
2 years, 1 month ago on Hawks vs. Thunder: Pregame Primer
I really hope presti gets on da phone and just amnesty perk, he's does nothing now. He shows no effort, can't jump can't shoot and can't rebound. At least kristic and green could shoot. He's worthless and the only way for this team to make the next evolution is get rid of perk and trade for a big with heart like varaveo or bigs like big al or Aldridge. Two moves could brooks proof this roster cause they will have to win with a handicap coach
Its gonna b pretty bad when kd doubles up perk in rebounds this yr. just making it easier to cut him
I'll keep saying it everyday on this board. There will b another trade, probably by the trade deadline cause if the worst Toronto plays and idc if Dallas beat the lakers last night I think theyre not making the playoffs and if that happens those 1st rd picks get better every week and if teams like the jazz, suns, hawks or blazers get of to a bad start they will blow their teams up and presti will take full advantage and Martin could b part of the deal.

It's also bout upside and Magee doesn't have upside cause he doesn't want to have upside. He's happy just being a shot blocker with average post game and bein a headcase
2 years, 1 month ago on Tuesday Bolts - 10.30.12
Have u looked at what everybody is getting paid in today's nba. Players like Nicolas batum and javel Magee r getting paid more that perk and the same as ibaka and if kd had a Kobe sized ego off the court he couldve easily asked 20 a year easily but he took less early to keep the team together and hopefully the cap rises over the next few yrs
Possible, especially since he's already talking bout trying to learn the playbook but then again his length and athleticism is too good to keep on the bench all season
We will see cause lamb may take minutes from him.
Blair and brand would b nice but big al or Aldridge would put fear in the league. Blair, big al and Aldridge all have been a thorn in this teams side for a while kinda like k mart has been. If rather have them on the team than yelling at the tv cause they're killing us
He won't play those mins again and if he does it will b when it counts.
Same here, didn't he say he see himself now as a top 5 pg, hell he's not even the point guard on his team.
Especially now that he gets the 3 best guy instead of the best defender on a nightly basis. When they play the heat it would b chambers on him cause wade will guard Russ.
The Perkins injury is highly possible and that's what worries me. Collison and ibaka can play 5 but not against Howard. If perk comes out looking worse and thabeet just isn't ready I could see make a big trade( hopefully for al Jefferson or lemarcus Aldridge) or maybe some like Elton brand who has a one yr deal that I think is worth 2 or 3 mil or go after Blair from the spurs.
I really hope k mart is hearing everything people have been saying since this trade. He's good but not harden cause I really want him to prove the doubters wrong. He's doesn't have to b the man on this team and because of that I think he will b better health wise than he has been in years. I also hope brooks uses him more like ray Allen cause that would create more ball movement on the floor, which will make an offense that was in the top 5 last year even better
Trust me I really hope they at least try. Even matchup wise it works with Aldridge ibaka kd and Russ in the starting lineup and if they find a way to keep lamb and make him a shooter it would completely spread da floor
2 years, 1 month ago on Top 10 James Harden moments
This deal is possible and honestly they don't need the picks, if one of them becomes a stud it will just lead to the situation that just happened. I'll ride out kd , Russ and ibaka for the next few yrs just put the right pieces around them but Aldridge is a game changer
I'm just gonna say I brought up presti making a move on Aldridge last night and this morning and I really think it will happen. Especially if Portland gets off to a very bad start again and if u made it a multi team move like with Phoenix or da kings they could ship Perkins too. And I think Aldridges contract is12 to 14 for the next 3 years, right around the range harden just turned down.
I still think we just set up a potential huge deal. Unfortunately we may have to wait till the trade deadline when a couple of teams r ready to rebuild. I'm hoping Portland craps out early so the Aldridge deal is possible
2 years, 1 month ago on Sunday Bolts – Bye-bye Beard Edition
@OkcBaby I think he does cause nobody ever makes a move without a backup plan, especially when this team just got to the finals last yr. like I said earlier I think this deal had to do with Perkins too, he's just getting worst and I think presti knows it, he's just trying to fix one problem at a time and he just fixed one and now he's setting up his next move
2 years, 1 month ago on Deal the Beard: What just happened?
I really wanted to say something last night but I had to sleep on it cause I was in shock when this happened but here we go. This trade may have left alot of doubt bout what's goin to happen this season but I think presti not only did the best he could but I think he mite pull off something soon to bring back stability to this roster. When green got trade it was to get a big man to help the team get to the next level and it worked but last night we were all reminded that this team we love so much is still a business and when u have a guy who preached bout sacrifice but actually cared bout himself and this happens when u have a big man when decreasing health and key players that u don't wanna lose over the next couple of yrs( thabo, maynor, collison) the organization chose the team over one man. A man that just put a mountain of pressure that he has never before on himself. He also just proved an extra 4.5 was worth more than the guys he called his friends and family but like the green deal this trade will make the guys on this team stronger cause I do trust presti. This is the same man that gms in this league says he plays chess while everyone else play checkers and every move has a purpose. Now here's what the thunder positioned themselves in for a future move. I honestly think this trade had to do with Perkins as much as it had to do with keeping the team at a nice tax range. We all see Perkins is only getting worse each season than better and with him bein owed 9 million each season I think presti is starting to realize he's not worth it and with the fact that this team will have to deal with Howard for the future. Presti got the most back he could've got without getting somebody who's own contract would probably become another tax problem and yeah they could've traded harden for beal and maybe got okefor but we will never know or mkg from Charlotte but they have nothing else we want. That's why just like this trade sending shock waves around the league his next move might b bigger. They have two shooting guard that many teams in this league would really like to have right now. The hawks, bulls, suns and jazz would really love to have. Of those teams I think the bulls and jazz make the most sense. The bulls know they need to get more offensive help for rosé at the sg spot( Hamilton is more of a 6th man this point in his career than a guy who can score 15to 18 and guard the elite guard in this league) and Noah would b welcome sign both offensively and him and ibaka would b kinda crazy to see but I think the jazz deal make the most sense. I think presti could get away with trading either Martin or lamb with either 1st round pick for Jefferson, who would give the thunder something they have never had, a big man with soft hands that's low post game gives EVERY team he faces fits and that with him bein the man. On this team he wouldn't have to b the man and he would never get double team playing with kd, Russ and ibaka on the floor. I have one more possibly but this one is huge that would put fear in every one in the league. It would b a four way trade between the thunder, blazers, kings and jazz. Okc would get Aldridge, blazers would get Perkins our 1st and one of our new picks and someone from the kings. Kings would get either Martin or lamb with cash and the jazz would get tyric Evans and probably someone else. That move may b a dream but possible because Aldridge has grown frustrated with the blazers and I could see Okc taking the risk to get him which would give Okc a lineup of Aldridge, ibaka, kd, thabo and Russ but I can dream but u never know but I had to get that off my chest before I go to work, later guys
Idk what to say, harden is gone. Well presti may have pulled the ultimate tough love move
2 years, 1 month ago on Report: Harden talking with Thunder, turned down $52M
And if its 3 and 5 just put bell in for 3rd and 4th down
This game is just another reason why nobody has ever got behind Landry, the romo of college football. He could've ran for that first down and set up bell but didn't then he wants to check down and throw only 10 or less yards when he could try to take a risk but doesn't. It's just weak and the ou d has played hard enough to keep them in this
If this game is decided by 4 or less points I'm pretty sure it will b all over sportscenter
Gotta love that Irish luck, pure sarcasm
That was weak, called holding during da celebration
What just happened
Almost in bell zone territory
Ou's offense is bout as predictable as knowing what's gonna happen when Perkins tries to do a low post move
They need to something cause I feels like they don't wanna take a shot deep even tho the line has protected Landry good so far
Hopefully I wanna see teo vs the belldozier
Not a good sign when the offense is already one dimensional and were not even thru da first quarter
