@Linda the Bra Lady I really don't think you count as the "little guy" in this instance. And I think you're still missing the point here. Vanity sizing is a negative term. Also, 25 years of experience doesn't make anyone an expert. 25 years of doing something wrong just means that you've spent 25 years doing something wrong. I could just as easily say that I'm an expert at, say, APA formatting for references because I've been doing it for 10 years....BUT the APA manual updates every other year or so, meaning I have to learn new things to stay at the top of my game.
All you have proved here is that your reputation means more to you than learning and embracing ALL of the bra community and not just promoting your own, biased, WRONG views.

I think that this post came off as very bitter and angry; maybe not your intention. I've seen both sides of the argument thus far, and I have to say that I've lost a lot of respect for you. Instead of truly listening to what new small businesses, bloggers, etc., have had to say, you knock them down and say "I've been doing this for 25 years, you are wrong, etc.". Do you have a PhD in bra fitting? I didn't know they offered that anywhere.
I'm not saying that you're fitting anyone wrong, or that you don't necessarily know what a good fit is. But I think it's rude to *squash the little guy* because you're afraid of what that could mean for you, your reputation, or your business.
No thanks, I'll never be shopping at Linda's.
