I'm sure Butch Jones will kick them all off the team- pending a vote of their teammates.

I hope his teammates can find it in their hearts to vote for him to stay on the team.

@DentonFisk You thought USC was going to a BCS bowl?  That's just adorable.

Whine about that call all you want, but replay clearly shows it was correct.

Insert Les Miles joke here.

To be fair, this isn't Miles's fault.  He took a team vote, and his players democratically decided to get paid, cheat in class, and to pimp out their hostesses.  It was the team's decision, and Les's hands were tied.  What was he supposed to do?  He was only the coach.

While I agree with this, the 2007 police reports also have to be taken into account.  Two different witnesses originally ID'd Hernandez for separate  felonies, the latter being an attempted murder.  The bouncer in the bar then stated that he was working with the UF coaches and legal staff on a settlement, and subsequently dropped the charges.  The witness to the shooting also mysteriously changed his story, coincidentally on the same day that Hernandez lawyer'd up and refused to talk to the police.  Could he have been bought off as well?  It certainly seems likely.  Here's what I'm getting at:  If it's proven that Urban and/or his coaches played an active role in covering up an attempted murder in 2007, then he has to shoulder some of the responsibility for what Hernandez does thereafter, even years after he left UF.  Because if they hadn't intervened in the legal process back then, it's very likely that AH would have been behind bars already, and the murder(s) in MA would have never happened.

@ChaseTheTrainWarren Sure.  But OWN it.  You're posting almost daily pics of yourself jetsetting to exotic locales, partying with the rich and famous, and getting laid in a different sorority house every night.  We get it- you were already a rich kid, and now you've obtained a level of celebrity, and you're enjoying all the perks that come with that life.  Bully for you. But if you're going to flaunt your rockstar lifestyle for the whole world to see, you don't get to play the "walk a mile in my shoes" card.  Manziel isn't 50 Cent- he wasn't raised by a crackhead mother, dodging bullets every day.  He's got it pretty good.  He's living a life that most people can't really identify with.  Courtside seats to the NBA finals?  Assuming he bought those himself (I have my doubts, but that's a whole other argument), that's a year's wages for some people.  He's taken more vacation days since January than I have in the past 4 years.  "Walk a day in my shoes"?  Gladly.  Where do I sign up?

"Walk a day in my shoes"?  You mean the day where you have courtside seats to the NBA playoffs?  Or the day you star in a music video?  Or the day you party with Justin Timberlake at the Superbowl?  Yeah, sounds pretty rough.  Poor guy.

 @alamoaggie08

Wait- do you really think Henderson ISN'T getting a "bad rap"?  He's easily the most hated athlete in the SEC right now, and deservedly so.  Put it this way- I was pulling for A&M against OU in their bowl game.  But I'll be rooting hard for Wisconsin to kick the dog crap out of OM in the first round.  And this is coming from a Tennessee fan who always pulls for the SEC against outsiders- ESPECIALLY the Big 10.

LOL- I've followed UT's coaching search as closely as anyone, and that's is the first I've heard Jeff Fisher's name.  I'm pretty sure he isn't even under consideration, nor has he been at any time.  But I'm glad that STL columnist could put those "rumors" to bed.

UT fans may be a lot of things, but the bandwagon fans jumped off about ten years ago.  These days, you can find them proudly flying their Bama flags during football season, then switching over to Kentucky blue in January.

If Tyler Bray was just coming anywhere near his #1 draft pick billing, maybe we WOULD have some bandwagon fans again.
