Best matchup for the Spurs would be the team that has the most fatigue and injuries. (Suspensions?)

If one considers these factors equal for both teams, I'ld rather see Indiana. They are challenged offensively and we would have the three best players of the Finals (Tim, Tony, Kawhi).

I'ld say that Splitter scored 4 points in overtime and two in garbage time.

Good win for the Spurs. A little like the way they beat the Clippers last year. I kept believing. No way we would continue to shoot below 30% and have 7 TO's/quarter.

Memphis has serious offensive problems. 93 points in 53 minutes? That simply won't do it. Pointdexter sixth foul was huge. They need him to score points.

Spurs rushed away and never looked back. It is clear that you cannot defend everything in basketball. Memphis went after the pick-and-role but gave us 3-point shooting instead. Not a wise choice. I expect defensive adjustments in the next games.

I'm curious to see how Diaw will play against small Warriors lineups. The ease at which he imposed his will in Game 3 calls for more back-to-the-basket action.

@ChrisCano @be_Spurs @Gospurs2013 +/- means that when he was on the floor, the Spurs outran GSW by 13 points. That does not compute with 'was torched on every play'. Ginobili has his role with the second unit. Even with the poor shooting, his minutes are still justified IMO. And there is a lot of upside. Not to mention that he got a couple of questionable calls against him. That could be the difference between 12 and 16 points.

Then about the fanclub. It is clear that Ginobili is nearing the end of his carreer, and he's paid a lot right now. But his next contract will (should) be more reasonable. 'Needs to go' is just plain disrespectful. Where would you send him to? Cleveland? Sacramseattle? He should end his carreer in San Antonio. And treating your valued franchise players with respect is what will convince quality free agents that seek a ring to come to our small-market franchise.

@Gospurs2013  Manu had a +/- of +13. That was the second best +/- of the game (Kawhi +16). 'Plays as poorly'. He had a bad first half but got back in the second half. You have to look at the other stuff Manu does. He makes the others better. He gets calls, deflections... Despite his 1-8 shooting, we still won the game with double digits.

Goudelock also announced that he isn't worried about the Lakers not picking up his contract option, as it is more than likely that they'll break open his current contract to offer him a max deal. "Especially when they see my performance in the next rounds of the playoffs". Asked how the Lakers would pay for another max deal, the young shooting guard pointed out that trade and amnesty are the best means to get rid of underperforming players, but that he wasn't going to give any names, "as these players might be of some use during our next games, or have mental issues that go as far as changing names". With regard to Bryants injury Goudelock said that he appreciated to have Kobe on the team, mainly for nr. 24s warm personality and hilarious tweets, but also because he has learned a lot from Kobe's mistakes, "going from his litigations against the 'Kobe beef' to his failure to score more points than Michael Jordan".
