Great thoughts. I agree with you. There are ways to promote vs sell. Ways to invite people vs demanding their attention. I'm all for people and organizations take days off.

Yes @KenMueller  I agree with you. @kirkholmes has done a great job teaching us and helping us to understand Onsite SEO. It gets forgotten so fast. I to have a hard-time with the "Sales People" for Yellow Pages online or ReachLocal, most of them are just that, selling something as if it is the silverbullit of SEO.

Thank you Ken for the  mentioning me! Not sure how I missed it until now, but here I am. There more we look at get @Outspective  off the ground the more we see that there are few people or companies out there asking for that Outside Perspective. Why? Well, pride is a huge issue. Also, people just think they are that good and don't need help. @HowieG makes a great point. Most companies start with noting more than a dream. Then in it is all hands on deck to keep this think afloat or moving forward. Never really understanding what set them apart is going away because they are just working, working working.  YET, the really smart ones know how to correctly question and ask questions of others!

@ginidietrich You are right, they don't care long as they are getting what they pay for and they can have access to you like normal.  Most of our clients love that they get more facetime because we do more Skype calls than most things. So we get to see them face to face.

It will be interesting to me to hear in a year, what it is like for you leading a team this way. I find that the internal cat-fights happen less and that the team is way more productive, but they also seem to get bored with things sooner.

As you know @ginidietrich I've been working with my team this way for over a year too.  It took a little getting used to, since most of team I've yet to meet IRL. I love the digital office. I feel that our team have become GREAT communicators because they have too.

The best part is I now have the best talent in the world, because they don't have to be here in the South with me.

It is funny though, the few times a few of us have been in our HQ in Orlando, we feel like we get nothing done,  because everyone's productivity is so much higher at home.

Love seeing more people adopt this way of life!
