Great work on this one man. I can only imagine how much time such detailed work may take.

Is there any way to have the colts' front office take a look at this? lol

I gotta say this: You have a really nice style of writing. It flows really well and has great imagery. It's very refreshing.. especially on the internet, where one's using to reading a lot of unpolished material.

You should write a sports novel one day.

@Kyle Rodriguez @TheFunkyMonkey this is unrelated kind of.. but why is Freeman considered a smaller linebacker? as far as I can tell, at 240, he weighs about the same as most of the other starting inside linebackers (Luke Keuchly, Daryl Washington, Navarro Bowman)

Dewey has a highlight video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-lHn93fNDk

and event though its just a highlight video and the quality of competition isn't that great, he seems to be a solid tackler with good instincts in coverage as well.

Seeing Nevis go makes me sad.. But it's probably better for him. He would have still been good in a 3-4, but he could probably be a superstar in 4-3. And the guy deserves that much.. i wish him the best

I am still pretty excited for the season. I am sure the line will get a better once we replace Mcglynn with Thornton. Also did Werner play at all? I don't think he did. He was in street clothes on the side line. Also, I don't see anyone mentioning Josh Chapman, but I thought he looked very stout at the point of attack and he sheds blocks really well too. Drake Nevis also looked good I thought. He looks like he could be an explosive pass rusher. He sheds blocks very well too.

I can see where you're coming from and where everyone else is coming from. But everything at this point is a speculation. Right now we just have to wait and see how things turn out.

Also I feel like people are forgetting that it's going to be a different type of offense. And we will have different o-line scheme.. there every chance that satele might flourish in it. But again.. we'll have to wait and see

@buymymonkey I mean Grigson said he "moves like a cat" and can play all of the positions. So chapman at NT and Hughes at DE, with Werner rushing form Hughes' side? recipe for rookie success? maybe?

can't say I was too stoked about this pick with Datone Jones still on the Board. I think he's a great player and has the potential to be Jared Allen-esque DE. But an OLB? I don't know.. then again I'm neither a coach, nor a scout.

We shall see.

I was thinking.. we could trade down just few spots in the first round and grab Margus Hunt a little later as well as get an extra draft pick.

I don't think WR should be priority right now.  We can work with wayne, hilton, brazil and the 2 TEs in the offense. We should however focus on O-line and defense,

I haven't seen anyone bring up Laron Landy. He could potentially leave the jets. What do people think about this?

@buymymonkey Agreed.. I would love it if peyton won the superbowl this year and then next and shut up all the critics that keep asking to see more rings. I couldnt be happier for the guy who built this house.

And I would love it if peyton and luck faced off in AFC championship. Luck can play the guy that built his house.

And then I would love it even more.. if luck won 3-4 superbowls himself after that.

The interior of the line doesn't seem to hold up well at all against pressure. I feel like it played a little better with satele out though.

I keep reading these comments on nfl.com about how RGIII is soooo much better than Luck and it's so frustrating. And the most annoying thing is, about 95% of all comments seem to be pro RGIII. No one realizes how much pressure Luck has to face in these games. people keep looking at stats and crowning RGIII the better QB.

That 3rd down write up you did was pretty nice. I was wondering if you could do a short one on quarterback hurries and knockdowns.

@mr_yannex  @ABlueColt Ballard does look like the best running back of the group. But I wonder why I ended bulking up that much.. maybe the coaches told him that he was going to be the short yardage back.

Looked to me jerry hughes got pressure on the quarterback multiple times. Also Drake Nevis still looks very good.

This is a little off topic, I dont know if anyone else noticed this, I was on the colts website looking at the roster and it looks like a lot of the guys have put on weight. Moala, Nevis, Matthews are all listed at 310. The guy that jumped out at me was Delone Carter. He is listed at 238lbs. I am pretty sure he was 222. Thats a lot of weight for guy who's only 5'9".

Just thought I would mention that some of T.Y. hiltons footage reminds of Desean Jackson. it would be pretty sweet if he turns out to become that kind of a player for us.

With collins, it seemed more of chemistry issue than anything else. Also take into account Manning-saturday combo has been together for so long. The collins-Saturday combo might need some more time for familiarity. I mean we all understand football to a certain extent and many of us have a keen eye for a good player vs a bad player. But a lot of don't understand how important chemistry can be.

If you look at the players individually, the talent on the colts roster is ridiculous. But for some reason they're not playing together as a team as well as they should. Coaches need to make sure that the team works on playing together as a team. Feeding off of each others attitudes and strengths. The head Coach should be responsible for the attitude of the team. The colts need to get aggressivee.
