You don't know if she was adopted, or the product of one of the parents from a previous marriage. Regardless like any other good marketing, we're discussing it and I see nothing that's remotely offensive about this.
wtf is wrong with you man?
I can think of two guys that are 1/2 Asian by blood...

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANOTHER JEREMY LIN POST
Irony, it's here.
"In the same way that his success is OUR success in tearing down stereotypes and fighting bigotry, his potential failure becomes OUR failure, and that become dangerous."
Yeah this is pretty much not true, lest you provide previous such examples.
I was excited to see they were doing a musical about Japanese camps. Then I saw Lea Salonga AND Takei were going to be in.
Then I clicked on Excited.
True story.
I read this yesterday and hated this article so much for creating this anti-Chinese sentiment.
You touched on most points well but the thing that bothered me the most is that if this were a real phenomena, it wouldn't affect just Asian Americans, it would affect all Americans/Californians just the same, if admissions from American borns were dropping.
This was awesome, it's quite rare for Asians on TV to be shown to have so much depth, to be portrayed as if you knew them rather than just someone who fills an otherwise empty void.
I heard he was IL.
Because there's no chance a man would lie on these kinds of surveys taken by a condom company.
It's a baffling issue..this is a great write up on it: http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/12/my-take-is-all-american-muslim-begetting-all-american-bigotry/?hpt=hp_c2
The networks should get F's for their portrayals of Ken Jeong and Matthew Moy.
Wow what a worthless study, it doesn't compare it to any other races to see how the numbers compare.
It's not surprising though, working at a desk job and getting paid a decent salary where you have real, enforced labor laws beats the hell out of say, selling cucumbers in an outdoor market for 12 hours long.
"There was one time this happened to me and this is why they apply to the rest of the world as well".
But seriously I wish these posts would contain more than just ignorant generalizations such as: "The Chinese can be abrasive and far too insistent and imposing of their values on others."
You can replace "The Chinese" with absolutely anything and it can be just as ridiculous and ignorant as anything else, e.g. "Jews", "Christians", "Republicans", "Democrats", "Writers of 8asians", "I", etc.
That is one of the most horrid things I've ever heard of..
I guess if you want to look at the silver lining--it's better they get an abortion here, rather than be tossed aside or drowned...once they're born, and if I were a girl and knew that my parents would rather abort than raise me, I'm not so sure I'd want to be raised by them.
And for anyone who wants to turn this into a pro-life argument, parents in India/China have no problems disposing of their born children after finding out they're girls--and if you don't legally allow this then they can just as easily take this matter into their own hands or find a doctor somewhere who will perform it.
I don't see how this process is anything but racial discrimination and against federal laws.
It's no different than a company 60 years ago not hiring someone strictly because they were black or a woman.
I think the idea of trying to "generalize" what an entire group thinks of another group is just as harmful as the thoughts themselves.
As you've managed to figure out, the opinions vary greatly, and this is no different than asking "What do Jews think of Asians" or "What do Asians think of blacks", simply by skimming a handful of posts on the internet and basing your opinion on that.
Imagine if people thought this was the majority opinion: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/02/27/HATE.TMP&ao=all
