@CaptainInsano I believe it has every right to be on the list. It moved a generation to be more aware of cars in culture. I'll be the first to admit that the first F&F sparked my interest in cars, it was only later I discovered and enjoyed the other movies on this list.

Ok, I'll be perfectly honest with myself. The first Fast and Furious, and I'm serious. For all its shortcomings it got a young impressionable generation interested in cars. Maybe each generation has that "Did I actually like this?" car movie like this, but it doesn't change the fact it opened my eyes to the fact there was much more to cars than being a rolling appliance (no matter how disgusting the Tuna sandwich was).

I see your point, and it's a fair one. I sell parts to many in the grassroots scene and see how hard these guys work and how much they spend out of their own pocket. I understand he designed it, but for what? You also need to understand he tackled just one portion to the car.... in my eyes it's nothing more than a stock car with a rather cheesy body kit (albiet with a short lived "cool" factor). At least the Evasive FRS has been pretty well re-engineered (to say nothing of the other cars this month.).
