@Smiggins @AceAndrew2 Go immerse yourself into hotrodding to gain a better perspective of what I'm talking about.  I can understand how you'd be in denial though, I was for a number of years.

This car has tipped the scales for me.  Up until this point I've doubted that imports would ever truly join the ranks of hot-rodding in terms of quality custom work.  This car however proves that this is possible while still remaining uniquely tuner.

@AlexAQ I hate to be a Negative Nancy but I'm with Alex, wouldn't touch that cage with a ten foot DOM pole, especially with that power. This car is "cool" but it suffers from self concept confusion.

Awesome Hartge's though.

Easily my favorite car you've featured in the last couple months.  Call me crazy though, after having driven a couple F20'02's  I don't like that engine in euro/japanese restomods.

I love the fact it was running widened versions of oem wheels!  It was very neat in person.  While yes, there are other awesome cars of the vein, I think this one deserves it's time in the lime light (just want to see it behind some drag lights!).

@earmenau @RacingPast I get what your saying and agree up to a point.  The appeal is somewhat less when you can no longer go to your local dealer and order up the same bits used on the factory race cars (like say... a 2.5L s14 evo crank).

I"m all for stories free of advertising and sponsors, but you've got to pay the bills somehow!  Sure beats pop-up adds or chinsy male enhancement side bars.  Shoot, go read hotrod, grassroots ms, or any other publication, same story.  Think a group of people would spend 40 plus hours a week for the "passion" of it while they've got families and bills?  Wake up whiners, reality is knocking.

The obnoxious internet-child in me wants to point out niggles like the steering wheel, or the wheel arches, or a few other tidbits.  But you know what? It doesn't matter.  There's so much i like about the car that the niggles begin to feel prissy in nature. The shape is VERY appealing and it really does seem like a car you can drive the pants off of one.
