@808marv I don't think it has much chance for success on Friday nights, to be honest. 5-0 always appeared to be going after a younger demographic but you won't find that on Friday nights when they're all out of the house. I know for me personally the day change will make it much less accessible to watch and will probably watch a few days later on my DVR if at all. But I could be wrong.
@Annoddah_Dave I know, right? That airport scene with Danno and his daughter made no sense to me if Dr. Asano wasn't gonna show up. I was like, okay, what was that scene all about?
This show needs a revamp stat. Kill Mama McG, kill Wo Fat, and let's hope Season 4 is more streamlined and focused on the 4 key characters.

@Grant Shindo Yeah, this film really used the 3D well, unlike Iron Man 3. Did you hear that lady in the audience scream during that moment in the climax? LOL Glad you liked the movie, old sport.

@Melissa808 @Annoddah_Dave Haha, yup, was my 3rd time on KHON. They used to have video links of our segments in the beginning but I don't think they do that anymore. So I just go home and watch my DVR of the segment on repeat like 100 times until I fall asleep with a content smile on my face. =p

@Annoddah_Dave AD - Unfortunately summer's not the best time for cerebral stuff but you may want to check out The Great Gatsby which opens this Friday. Review to come out later this week.

Haha, I don't think there's any way I could've gone as far as you guys. But seeing your pics on Instagram that night did inspire me to go to another sushi establishment I frequent and had myself a wonderful meal as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
@Annoddah_Dave Yes! I would love to see another Sherlock Holmes film! I love RDJ in that role and I thought the 2nd one was way better than the first.
@Terrysagirl You and Melissa could very well be right that the show has given itselfmover to camp. Ifnthat is indeed the case, it's really sad. I still don't think Tyler's talk show host was supposed to be annoying though. I think it was just her personality coming through.
@Amy1 Hmm I really don't recall any Chinese characters in this film. But I do know that there is a different cut of the film specifically for China so perhaps he's in that version? If you do see him in this film please respond back and let me know.

@islandgirlinnc Yeah, Tyler was absolutely horrible. Like I said in my post, I don't know how she continues to get work. And yeah, Wo Fat, as stretched out as his storyline is at this point, deserved better than that.
@WERUreo I can tolerate Max's character as long as they don't get too silly with him. Masi Oka isn't a strong actor and his deficiencies are exposed even more when forced to stretch with the silly side gags they've given him such as dressing him up in costume several times in Season 2. I think he was at his best playing modest and shy when he had that bank teller girlfriend that one episode.
