This is Grrrrreat! I've forwarded this to a lot of my fellow travelers, especially some of the ones new to the game that I mentor. I have to say, that John Engle's point about being friendly and kind (#9)! That is a definite winner every time. Even if you don't get an upgrade or some other perk, you just feel better about your whole travel day if you make it a point to smile! It's something to keep in mind in all aspects of customer service, whether traveling or not!
