Go M'Essa! Love that Beemer chassis =)

I like the wide front stance on his other car, kinda makes it look like a cartoonised bulldog with it's front legs planted ready to fight =P

Such a great build. Every aspect tweaked and improved and THAT engine, looks so damn good while still looking like it's spun into the red on the regular
Now the praise is outta the way, guys: you need to get a proofreader. This is the best car culture site I know of, the technical content is amazing, the pictorial content is beautiful, but occasionally all that professionalism is lost in one badly proof-read sentence.
Sorry to whinge, but hey; you'd be helping yourselves out

I agree. I'm relatively new to actually following drifting but I can see how pushing guys to make their tyres last longer will degenerate into them using their tyres well past when they should be replaced. Yeah it can make the wait for an OMT seem interminable but I think that's down to the preparedness of the team. If they had spare wheels ready with fresh rubber in case if a OMT that can be swapped on that'd help =)

Now to get that painted on my cam covers...

Not true, I'd say aside from a hot hatch they'd be one of the best entry-level sports cars ever built.

Great post tho, and yes: that would be my dream living/working space too =P

Is that 911 not an actual 993 RS? Because you talked about the flares etc as if they were aftermarket additions =P
Uncalled for dude, this is 2014.
Cue prices of second hand Evos (especially the awesome ones) skyrocketing and my dream of owning one (an awesome one) biting the dust as hard as the Evo's competitors always used to... A sad, sad day

I like the centre exit exhaust =P the only changes I would make (as a layman from Australia, where leather = blistered bums in summer =P) would be tartan fabric on the seats and doors, the colour, white with green accents, polished wheel spokes with green rims, titanium exhaust (I love the colour) and an RS ducktail. But that'll all have to wait 'til I either win lotto or get my dream job =P
But I think that's another thing that makes a Porsche so special. With a Ferrari you might say, "I want a red one" or "a black one", but here we are, talking about a car that once was a humble Beetle, and making these wonderful concoctions of our favourite bits and pieces of automotive history and culture, and that's just special. And thank God there are people like Singer Magnus Walker who can realise these dreams for us =P

I recon it's the shine of polished parts against the black background that gives them such impact, but I recon a really light background against something not so shiny would give equal effect. Like a red crackle-finish Ferrari cam cover against the white paint on the side of a racetrack or something =P

Love that camshaft pic tho, so simple, but genius nonetheless =)

I guess I was a little confusing there, I was imagining the system I described reversed, so that the ride height is normal normally, and then where the Lambo' driver would hit a button to jack it up a little, the non bagged system would hunker it down a little instead =P

How hard is it to a) get ahold of one of your CNC machines and b) how hard is it to use?

I would've much preferred coilovers with a pneumatic lift system like they have in the front of some Supercars for more clearance over gutters etc, but applied to the front and rear... Surely that's possible yeah? No, you wouldn't have the amount of travel a normally bagged system would give, but you'd be able to have a car set up for optimum handling, and then drop it that inch or so for a static, ground hugging show-car look. Is there any reason that wouldn't be possible?
Other than the 'bags tho I really like this. I like the colour, the wheels, the details, the 'unforced' driving force, if you get me =P it's everything an M car should be =)
I'd love even an Evo 6.5 'TME' xD
And I completely agree with your preference for tarmac rallying, my first exposure to motorsport was the 5 day epic Targa Tasmania. I still love that thing =)

My trainer would kill me if I started eating them again, and my gf would kill me if I started spending copious amounts of money on "that car" =p so I'll continue to live vicariously through you and the others on this wonderful website =)
I love the commitment, but god DAYUM I would've been living on 2 minute noodles for years if I'd had to pay for all that!
Also love the pics of the two cars together, I honestly can't pick between the two, I want them both =P
Amazing images, can't wait to see what you do at Albert Park today =D

Definately an opinion divider, I like them, other people don't and that's fine. I'm just trying to work out how to integrate them onto my 206 xD

I think they're great, on a few levels. The safety factor, as you'll always notice a car more if it's lights are lit; for me they highlight (no pun intended) the front of the car and give designers a focal point, and I love that the car constantly looks awake, ready and raring to get out and be driven =P
