I wonder if a wave of trending entrepreneurial management practice advice might follow, in the global content stream? ><
Keeping it to principles, I think there's gold in social entrepeneurialism. The iTunes U stream from the Stanford Center for Social Innovation - http://csi.gsb.stanford.edu/ - had served to draw my own attention to the matter, sometime last year. Though I suppose it might sound a bit esoteric, maybe business can be about more than nuts and bolts, after all? :)
I think that it could mark an interesting shift in the industry*, if other film companies would endeavor to "Follow suit."
I'm impressed if they're beginning to catch up with modern technology, in regards to film distribution on the consumer side of the business.
* and no, I'm not trying for "the Jedi angle" lol ;)
I wonder if Amazon could use a brick-and-mortar retail chain? :)
The author's candor is refreshing. I hadn't heard of SolarCity, will have to keep it in the bookmarks - hoping to see more content like this, about entrepreneurship. To my understanding, there hasn't been a lot of discussion about entrepreneurship, since the Dot Com bubble was going through its trendy lifecyle ;) If there's a definite shape to it, still, it's nice to get an honest heads-up about it. Cheers!
