@AIaska @f5alcon @Pancakes and Blouses Not to mention that Lebron and Kevin are impending free agents and the history of the Cavs under this current ownership group has been tumultuous.

They also have a RFA in Thompson that should be seen as "steal" target for other teams.

@Bmuelle24 @Pancakes and Blouses  @rednuht The winning of additional championships after losing the most dominate player of his time was impressive. Enduring the first year after the trade of Shaq where Miami won the championship was impressive.

"instead of being grateful for blessing their city with the time I gave them, they'll probably just spew some garbage like "Oh, it was always Russell Westbrook's team" when I leave or something stupid like that when I blindside them, but I loved it here and I would love to get my jersey retired here after all the garbage I've put up with the last seven years. It's the least they can do." Translated by Bullets Forever

@66 Players Had 32 pts This Year PJ3 Suxs *Tvaddic* I'm sure Kevin Durant appreciates Bullets Forever translating his words for him. No need to speak Kevin, we're going to go ahead and issue words on your behalf to fit our narrative. After all you're not a human being but a jersey number. #laundrycheer

If we ended up matched up with Houston in the first round of the playoffs would this be a good or bad thing?

@Bmuelle24 Jackson supporters would argue that the teams he coached didn't win a championship before him. This is true for Chicago and LA.

@Brussell Sproutbrook It will all be good again tomorrow. Chicago knows they have to make the best of the Rose situation and hope that he finds health through the remainder of his contract.

I can't help but think of Durant's current injury and the history of this injury in other players. All we can hope is Durant finds health and enjoys a long career in OKC.

@Pooksnubn  @f5alcon  This is a case where the head coach lost the leverage to use a proven system that had helped his teams win games historically. The Cavs weren't winning as they were suppose to and the franchise player was rebelling against the results of the system.

When I think of offensive systems and our own team I always start with Russell Westbrook.  A completely unique player who's game could be hampered by a regimented offensive system.

@f5alcon @rednuht @UnfortunatelyOptimistic Agreed. How could we expect Westbrook to become Westbrook when we'd never seen a point guard do what Westbrook is doing?

@UnfortunatelyOptimistic @rednuht @f5alcon Bayless put up great athletic numbers in the combine and had a jumper out of college. It's hard to imagine Bayless reaching Westbrook's level because they are so far apart now.

Westbrook didn't have an easy development track, but two important things happened. The Thunder stayed with Westbrook as their point guard when other options were available and Westbrook continued to work as hard as anyone in the league.

@f5alcon @rednuht @UnfortunatelyOptimistic Are we lucky that the Thunder organization has been so patient with Westbrook's development or is Bayless unlucky that Portland was so impatient with his development?
