@anonymous12345 @Marko (Lacoste baby) Reggie doesn't have the experience to compete with Monta when it comes to looking off teammates for his own shot. Monta got it all.

@Tvaddic Are they trolling Heat fans?
2 days, 15 hours ago on Lessons from preseason
@Jooseppi @ Luke Lots of guys end up getting in as injury replacements
@Thunder_Blue The competition is tough. What kind of numbers would he have to put up to be considered?
2 days, 16 hours ago on Lessons from preseason
@DanielLawler There is a very good chance you and your friend will both be wrong.
@Jooseppi @DTVirgin Agreed, but the freedurant T-shirt comment is a shot against the whole organization culture and the City itself.

@Lost Ones I feel like you are losing your love for the troll as you get older.
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] My guess:
New York, Brooklyn, Boston, Houston, Dallas, LA, LA, Golden St., Chicago, Detroit, Phoenix, Toronto, Atlanta, Washington, Minnesota, Indiana, Miami
Although Indiana and Minnesota are smaller markets, their ownership tends to align themselves with the NBA league office view. All of the big market teams likely to want a better shot at a top pick over the next couple of years.

@UselessHuestis I could imagine Presti as a future candidate for commissioner of the league.
@DTVirgin @rednuht When Westbrook was out last year the team maintained two players within the lineup that could create their own shots and create for others. I think this is an important aspect of the current make up of the team. I think this is more important than the floor spacing Morrow offers.
I expect Brooks to stagger Westbrook and Jackson so they are both on the court at any part of the game, but allowing them to share the court should help Westbrook and the team.
If Brooks started Jackson, it would probably require Telfair to play 8-12 minutes a game, but I still might prefer it to starting Morrow.
Brooks starts out the season with a 10 man rotation, which is his history.
Westbrook, Jackson, Roberson, Ibaka, Adams
Morrow, Collison, Lamb or PJ3, Telfair, Perkins

@The McAdams Bros @rednuht Would be interesting, I'm still leaning towards Lamb, with Brooks hoping Lamb rises to the occasion.
@f5alcon @rednuht @DVoegeli So if Westbrook gets doubled we will rely on our Spurs like ball movement?
Westbrook passes to Roberson who stands at the 3 point line with no one around him and waits? Green is a threat from 3, he doesn't need to pass the ball, Leonard can dribble it 10 feet if need be.
Maybe I'm wrong.
@Perk-Punt @rednuht @f5alcon If they double him at half court there is literally not another ball handler on the court. That seems worrisome.
@DVoegeli @rednuht @f5alcon Let's assume the double team came from Roberson's defender as is likely.
@f5alcon @rednuht What happens when teams double team Westbrook?
@_justin @DJ_Yardman For the outside shooting you covet?
Westbrook, Morrow, Roberson, Ibaka, Adams starting lineup. Seems a lot of pressure on Westbrook to be the lone shot creator on the floor, but perhaps it's for the best short term.
A couple of questions.
How many minutes is Morrow projected to play?
Who won the right to be the wing off the bench? Lamb or PJ3?
How many minutes will Jackson and Westbrook play together?
Does Perkins play more than 12 mpg when healthy?
@ThunderChick2010 @ Old Man Game Put the collar around your neck.
3 days, 15 hours ago on Kevin Durant says he’s not going to rush back to the court
@_justin @rednuht @ Luke Interesting that they've spent so much time using Lamb as a facilitator in summer league and preseason.
16-23 is not midrange, but long 2 range. This is already recognized as the least efficient range for players. Mid range for Lamb is 12-18'.
@ Luke @Jooseppi Maybe if Boozer wasn't on the squad last year?
@Hustle Westbrook Morrow Faction @rednuht @FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] I disagree, but the idea of 3 large combo guard rotation is interesting and Knight would serve as Jackson insurance. Start Jackson at SG, Knight off the bench.
@ Luke Jimmer vs. Telfair
@_justin @rednuht @ Luke Thus far he hasn't been good enough in any single offensive department, but I think he's at his best in the midrange. From here he can shoot over opposing defenses, drive a little and set up big men.
If I didn't know better I would say you're setting him up to fail.
@ Old Man Game This dog collar sounds like a horrible idea. Did you vet this through Prez and the other dog lovers on this site?
@_justin @ Luke Why?
@FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] I have some interest in Knight, without trading Jackson or Westbrook.
@King of Carrot Flowers the third Totally redeeming

@King of Carrot Flowers the third Did you mean to type turned on?
1 week ago on Friday Bolts – 10.17.14
@Tvaddic I don't expect KD to ever retire.
@Tvaddic This is excellent news.
I hope Serge can find a niche for himself next to Adams.
@King of Carrot Flowers the third preseason, half the roster is injured, don't we always complain about Brook's rigidity with line ups?
@GREENE1148 Success builds trust. Laker fans trust their front office to put things together and so Julius Randle must be one of the best players in the draft.
@Crow Like Presti, I think RJ and Pop worry about their own house and not what everyone else is doing. Don't you think RJ and Pop got themselves into trouble by going for a championship with the signing of Richard Jefferson and realized that staying true to building from within with younger players was the right way to go?
@_justin @Crow Because being successful for as long as possible gives you more opportunities to win championships. #proofspurs
@yarkmu @Perk-Punt I don't think players ever flatline. I don't think we can answer the questions of the value of Lamb and PJ3 until the end of this season.
@yarkmu @rednuht @Perk-Punt I disagree. I think finding guys who can produce what Reggie did last year is not difficult, but to say that Reggie is easily replaceable ignores what makes him unique and a candidate to get paid next summer.
Not every player can get to the rim at will and finish in this league. Perhaps because we have Westbrook we take it for granted, but it's pretty special.
@yarkmu @rednuht This is why I think you wait on Jackson. He may want to start for a team, regardless of salary, but despite public comments in this realm, he also likes playing for this team, he likes winning and if he gets paid, he's playing a lot of minutes and will have a major role.
If the only hurdle is whether Jackson starts or not with the Thunder, that might just work itself out naturally, to where both parties are satisfied.
And if it doesn't then the worst case scenario is you match and trade or you get a good size TPE or some value and move on.
@Perk-Punt @rednuht @yarkmu Do you wait to find out or do you take care of the guy who has already broken out and is still improving?
@yarkmu @rednuht Does it matter whether Jackson starts or not if he is a difference maker?
If the Thunder win the championship and Jackson is an important part of that process, then isn't he worth Bledsoe money to us?
@McLasch @yarkmu Assuming Jackson is offered something similar to Bledsoe and Presti matches, what is the worst case scenario moving forward?
@yarkmu @rednuht I'd put Bayless at about 3/8 of Reggie's effectiveness. With Durant and Westbrook, I just don't think the SG role is as important to upgrade, but I get it.
Middleton was kind of a piece of gold in a field of terds last year for Milwaukee. I think they're very high on him.
@yarkmu @McLasch Might as well let Reggie's situation play out.
@yarkmu This seems like a band aid fix to Durant being out, but what happens in the playoffs? Is Middleton buried on the bench and are we relying on Bayless as the third shot creator?
@Keith00 @rednuht @FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] I'd stick with Lamb over Dudley. If you're taking a risk on two imperfect players, I'd go with the one who is younger and can create their own shot.
1 week, 2 days ago on Wednesday Bolts – 10.15.14
@SeinfeldOKC Green is the difference maker? Why would Phoenix trade such a player?
@OKC2503 So you're telling me there is a reason Presti traded for him?
@Keith00 @FunakiEjectsAnother [#StartLambFaction] @rednuht Adams is the contract that isn't currently being factored into the potential luxury tax.
