@JimboSlice  Leo's lack of athleticism is a non-starter for me. If you can't create space or guard in the league it should be a pass. There have been 6'-7" point guards out of Europe before in Marko Jaric and Jiri Welsch and they both had more athleticism than Westermann.

@ILikePancakes Who is more stubborn, Brooks or Presti?

@TaoMaas  @"Do More" Bry Bry  Good points, but hasn't Brooks countered Jackson's inexperience by giving the ball to Durant the majority of time when Jackson is in with the second unit?

It's funny to me how Brooks doesn't put the ball in the hands of the 17 year veteran and let Jackson play the 2 guard.

@"Do More" Bry Bry I don't even mean regression in a completely negative way. Durant and Westbrook shoot so much because they are extremely talented and have a mismatch advantage nearly every time down the floor.

I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you believe Fisher will play less in the playoffs.

If you were Kevin Martin or Kevin Martin's agent  and were willing to sign for less than your potential market value to stay in OKC wouldn't you want a trade kicker of at least 15% to make it more difficult for the Thunder to trade you later and more profitable if they do?

@BallSoHard If Fisher can convince Westbrook and Durant to trust their teammates more once the playoffs begin his signing will be worthwhile. I will say that I thought the team took a large step forward from the regular season to the playoffs last year. At the time we credited Durant and Westbrook with "getting it", but there has been a regression back to the regulars season of last season.

Both players are very coach-able, but perhaps they needed to hear a new voice but familiar voice?

@"Do More" Bry Bry If the cause of Fisher is a result of the stage of development of Durant and Westbrook then how do we describe the affect of Fisher?

@PKBOB I would agree. Brooks has tremendous respect for Fisher and believes we are a better team with him. Brooks understands Fisher has limitations, but believes the team can live with those limitations. The same can be said for Perkins role on the team.

@thunderokc  Sam Presti is to blame for Brooks playing Fisher, right? Presti signed Fisher and extended Brooks. These are Presti moves. As much as I'm tempted to rail against Brooks, Presti put this into place.

@PKBOB We don't have the same team we had a couple of years ago. So many dynamics from player development to changes of expectations have an effect on Brooks.

The question you might be trying to ask is, would Brooks play Fisher if Maynor was with the team and at his best?

Having Mike James shoot is likely to help us before the game is finished.

@lethalizer You can't have a fast pace with Randolph and Gasol, they're playing at a pace that works for them. The amazing feat is how little outside shooting they've added in the last two seasons despite the obvious need.

@lethalizer  Memphis is a pretty small market, moving to the East wouldn't help ticket sales, I could see them fight such a move.

@Aren't  @lethalizer  @MJOKC  @Aren't The league could put Miami in the Northwest Division? The travel alone would be brutal enough to cause additional losses.
