Another fantastic post, DeLores. I love the story of Ben Underwood.
Nice of you to say so, Frank. (love the TF distinction!) Time is a precious commodity we have to spend wisely during our short time on earth. Most of the time it's all about giving yourself the permission to let it go. Keep up the good work.
And kudos to you Evelyn for taking the step. FrankDickinson evelynonline80 KellyPoelker skooloflife
I'm so glad you wrote this one mary goulet . I've always found it to be the best analogy.
Love this post, Mary. And very timely as October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I'll be more aware now of the physical signs my gut is giving me. Thanks!
Great interview Frank and mary goulet . As you both know I'm a strong believer in the go with your gut process. Though I have to admit I never really applied it to my writing like this, and will definitely change that in the future. Just another unsuspecting area of life to apply the process of making gut decisions. Thanks!
Frankie... the answers lie in the text of your post-- GO WITH YOUR GUT! It will not steer you wrong. Mary would tell you, you're not confused... you know the answer you just don't like it. Don't go with the next hottest thing. Go with what moves you and makes you feel jazzed. That my friend, is why we're all following our entrepreneurial spirits.
Great stuff, Mary. I'm so glad you're sharing more of your work here on the blog. People need to hear, know, and put to work the Go With Your Gut process in their lives. It's so powerful.
Jackie LeeFrankDickinson Excellent way to put it Jackie.
Hey just because you got a kick in the butt doesn't mean you have to give me one! Great stuff, Frank. Great stuff, Elizabeth!
I started just by giving my weekends back to me and to my family a few years ago. Sure, I falter now and again but it's no longer 24/7--it'll be there when I get back. Though this can backfire if you get too lax about it, so be careful. Keep it all in perspective without impacting customer service in your business.
Better done than perfect--something Mary Goulet taught me a long time ago.
What a beautiful message straight from the heart, Joey. I have no doubt your MeMe is very proud of you, today and everyday.
Great post. What's interesting is now the roles have reversed and we're now teaching our parents these things for social media.
