@rationalmotive You get out of the intro at level 4, 4 1/2. Getting to 10 is a quick process. Getting to level 25 will take a little longer but not long at all. The leveling process is pretty quick.

@TheBaconAbyss You're right, it is an opinion. However, I also feel that the way Pandaria's content is delivered makes it some of the more exciting content we've had. Blizz is obviously at their peak in terms of what they can do in WoW. They've learned a lot and Pandaria has shown off their mastered skills.
When you look at scenarios, the raids, boss strategies, LFR, and overall enhancements to the game it is hard to deny what Pandaria has done for WoW.
WoW isn't losing subs because of Pandaria. The game itself is getting plenty old and while it is still the most popular MMO out there, there are other games doing unique and fresh things that are attracing people. Plus, Free-2-Play games are starting to take a chunk of the player base.
When I run through things like Throne of Thunder, try to beat out Challenge Modes, and see the upcoming Orgrimmar content I find it to be very exciting. I still think Wrath was the best expansion but Pandaria is doing some great stuff.

I completely disagree about the story being bland and unimaginable.
*WARNING: MASSIVE SPOILERS*
Rising really shows the aftermath of the fall of the Patriots. You have PMCs trying to stabilize the world after Ocelot's war on the Patriots. You got a ton of soldiers who now have nothing else to do in a world that wants nothing to do with them. Then you have a group who decides that what the world really needs is another disaster to ramp up the economy and forward progress of society.
Raiden's own reasons for getting back into being a full-on cyborg and joining a PMC is because he needs to provide for Rose and his kid. You could say Rising shows how much of those involved in the whole war against the Patriots became almost like Vietnam veterans just trying to make their way in the world when no one cares about them.
They expand on that theme when Sam tells Raiden that who he is killing are people just like him: human and desperate. It was their only opinion to take the skills they had, stay employed, and do something with their lives.
Now as for the reason why Raiden went after Desperado and World Marshall was because they were using children's brains to create better cyborgs then the desperate adults they were using. Children can be manipulated and training into being exactly what Raiden was: a child weapon and soldier. They won't care about ethics or laws or having a bloody conscious when you trained them not to care or think that way.
Raiden didn't want the same thing that happened to him happen to anyone else so he fought as hard as he could. He knew he couldn't stand up against the two PMCs and their leaders without tapping into what they are trying to manipulate and create so Raiden allowed himself to feed the Jack the Ripper persona and let it loose.
Then we see that they were going to use the new child-based cyborgs in the new, staged War on Terror between the US and Pakistan. Everything was all about charging up the war economy again and using that to further their gain, profit, and the fuel what the Patriots were attempting to do for so long.
"We're all sons of the Patriots now!"
Rising's story is filled with purpose and deep themes. This showcases what happened after SOP fell in MGS4 and if you go all the way back to Big Boss' nightmare for soldiers, it came true. It really makes you think if Outer Haven was truly necessary.

99 new Pokemon and most of them babies or new evolutions? If that proves to be real, then I'm less excited about these games.

I want to see the combat of TERA, the story elements of The Old Republic, the content and polish of WoW, and class structure of The Secret World all rolled up into one MMO.
I love the free range, constantly moving combat of TERA. It keeps every battle fresh, fun, and reliant on skill instead of gear.
I really enjoyed the way story was done in The Old Republic but the game, class balancing, and quests were boring.
I love the polish and level of detail the content in World of Warcraft has. They have tons of content and while I understand it takes time to get to that level, I want that kind of dedication to both PvE and PvP with high level of detail.
The Secret World has the best class structuring in any MMO. The Skill Wheel system leaves choices up to the player and not what every you pick at character creation (ie. Warrior, Priest, etc.).
Roll that up in one and you have my dream MMO. Hell, slap the Final Fantasy brand on it and consider me dead from overjoy.

@PantslessAaron Agree to disagree, Mr. Aaron. You had a good post but I think the franchise is fine. Especially when you take in account the three directions I talk about in this post.

@DeclanFraher Completely forgot about Weil and the Dark Elf. I knew I was going to forgot something trying to tackle all 7 series in one article, heh.
I would love to see a new Battle Network come out just so we could have internet netbattles. I'd play that game all the time.

When I think of THQ and their properties, I really can't think of anything Double Fine would be interested in.
Maybe they want to take a crack at WWE, Warhammer 40k, and Saint's Row. That would be hilarious.

The med-pack water bottle is cool. The rest I could do without, especially for $160.

@NegaRamy I added a picture under Froakie's section of the post. It clearly shows ice. Now, if that's just a coincidence, we won't know until later on. However, right now it seems that Water/Ice is the most likely combo.

No Phantasy Star Online, I am disappoint.

Honestly, people want Master Chief. ODST and Reach were cool and all but it didn't feature the one thing that fans really grasped on: Master Chief's badassery.
I think Halo 4 will remedy any issues people have with this franchise.
