@Steve Douglas Oh - I understood iOS would be supported, I even mentioned it in the video interview with Chris Jones, and nobody from Big Finish corrected me....hmmm.

The more time goes on, the less I care about an FF7 remake. I've gone back and played it again a couple of times, and it just reinforced the idea that FF7 was a great game for its time, but it was hardly the watershed transformative experience that many, many people make it out to be.

Mega Man X4 is the BEST! I freaking LOVED that game. *goes digging in closet to find it*

If anything, my favorite thing about Tropes v Women is that it's got me thinking about a lot of games that I'd enjoy seeing from a feminine perspective. I'm kind of surprised nobody's made a rom hack of Super Mario Bros where Peach frees herself from her cell, kills Bowser, and travels the stages in reverse to get home. And I LOVE the idea of The Legend of Zelda: Clockwork Empire.

@sensi2fr @JaredJeffers What's really amazing is that people still get bent out of shape over an article that's well over a year old. Disagree? Fine. Write it up and submit it somewhere, maybe even to Leviathyn! Then maybe you can do the job that Travis does and eventually have someone complain about your piece over something ridiculously petty. And the cycle continues!

@Tony the Gamer Dad @PantslessAaron Oh, I know, but if Microsoft really thinks that, especially after yesterday, their blind hubris is mind-blowing.

@Tony the Gamer Dad Ha! It really didn't.
@SiorafAsNaCillini Regardless of whether or not they comprise a majority, homosexuals are quickly becoming accepted in all facets of society. Most intelligent people have come to understand that their behavior is not abhorrent or unnatural. Homosexual marriage is being granted lawful status in more and more states - and the rate is accelerating. The stigma against gay marriage is going away, the same way as interracial marriage did. It is inevitable.
By your logic, black people in America aren't normal. Same with any race other than white. Following any other religion than Christianity is not normal. Divorce IS normal, though. Isn't that something?

@Steve Douglas My favorite is that last one - I'm hoping that's Rook's basement, and Tex learns the horrible truth - that Rook is a closet magician-wannabe.

@cornath As much as I like that idea, it's extremely unlikely. I seem to recall hearing that the Big Finish gang did not have the masters for the videos they shot, so any update/remaster would still have the videos at low detail, low resolution, and I guess Big Finish doesn't want to half-ass anything. The flipside of that is that they could probably get away with re-shooting all the videos with new actors - hell, Overseer is a retelling of Mean Streets, so why not a retelling of Under A Killing Moon or The Pandora Directive? But clearly, that's not a priority at the moment. In the meantime, I've heard of no fan projects of the sort you describe.
I've never actually been introduced to Crash, but just listening to people who knew him, I get the feeling that I might want to meet the fellow someday.

@midnightsmoke Well, don't get your hopes up for the Xbox 720. I'll bet anything that it won't have backwards compatibility, either.
7 months, 2 weeks ago on Why I’m Completely Indifferent to Sony’s PS4 Details
@ PBX That's fine - I take no exception to others being excited about the PS4, hell, SOMEONE probably should be. I just.......mehhhhh.
@arocks Well, it's true - the 360 controller has a crappy d-pad that doesn't feel accurate, no matter how much tweaking you do, so I only use my 360 wired controller on my PC for modern games. Comparing these controllers to an Xbox 360 controller, some of them are better, like the SNES controller in part 1 and the N64 controller in part 2. The others were largely terrible, don't waste your money.
If you're using an emulator, you'd be better off using a PS2 controller or a clone - I actually have a PS2 controller with a USB adapter, and I use that for all of my emulation needs, and the occasional modern game with 2D controls, like Cave Story. I hear it's possible to get PS3 controllers to work on PC, but last I checked, that required some work, and I couldn't manage it on my old Vista laptop.
I haven't checked out the Logitech F510, but I may do more controller reviews in the future, so I'll definitely add that to the list of possibilities. My advice would be to do some research. Just googling the picture of the F510 shows me that it has a very similar d-pad to the 360, so I'd be wary if I were you.

The problem is choice. An always-online system restricts choices. Purchasers should be able to choose to play without being leashed to Microsoft's servers. Without a stable internet connection - which still isn't available everywhere - the new Xbox is a very expensive paperweight.
