@KenMueller I don't think that it would be worthwhile. Rather spend my efforts trying to work with our followers and grow things organically.

Great info Ken. Thanks!
Very inspirational post Ken. Besides that, it is an amazingly well done post, including all of the things that you tell others to include in their posts.

Finding enough work to keep everyone busy is more important. Think we got another nice church roof to do. YEAH!!! But obviously reading your blog is more important than most other things in my life.

This hits very close to home. It's all on the line. There seems to be no one who understands and then I read this and know that at least I am not alone in the world. I think that we have turned the corner but it will take a few months to know for sure. I know that my Vistage group will understand, but I'm not so sure about my banker.
Really wish that I had your way with words. Great job!

@KenMueller @shonali What I thought was really funny was when I mentioned her in the reply, it went an e-mail to her saying she was mentioned in a post about.......hahaha
2 years, 10 months ago on Of Offensive Smells, Foreign Substances, and Bad Attitudes
Great point about the attitudes, because sometimes it gets a little difficult when everyone is working so hard and tired as we discussed @shonali 's blog yesterday.
I was just talking to someone about this yesterday. It seems to me that we are all working harder for less money. I wonder about politics and the economy, but when it comes down to it, I know that I just have to keep working as smart and as hard as I can. But I too am VERY TIRED!

I wouldn't even know how to begin to separate the two. I think that people should just be authentic. It sounds like way too much work to be two different people.

2 years, 10 months ago on Stuck In a Rut? Pivot Your Business.
In our business (Roofing) we have made the decision to "Pivot" away from new construction work. This has been a great decision, driven by my COO. Now we are focused solely on re-roofing and repair work. Change does not happen overnight, but life is much better and we can focus on providing better service to our customers.
Really like this post Joey and I tagged it to go back to when I'm working on my own posts. Thanks a lot!

Good timely post Ken. I appreciate the explanation and really hate to have to question everything that I read, but some things change very slowly. What I think is even more of an issue for me is the way that the "media" treated this great man in his last year.

I think that it is also important for businesses to make sure that the customer is a right fit for them. Social media allows us to make sure that the fit is right on both sides. And yes, sometimes I think that my business is full of nuts! Great post Ken.

Can't believe no one mentioned Lancaster Central Market yet. The market IS Lancaster. Fantastic businesses and great history. Lancaster Central Market RULES!
Great place to go on a date night! It used to be The Cove I think? @KenMueller
This morning I liked "the Waterfront" restaurant and gave them a quick review on their Facebook page. The food really was FANTASTIC! Is it OK to come back whenever I promote other local businesses and post again?
I love the idea of "community". I think that it is inside of us and we can choose whether or not we personally want to use it. Through social media we have the ability to find like minded people who want to be a part of our community. You can kind of build it yourself, not reliant upon relations or neighborhoods. Like any community, you will have some that are more involved than others and some who choose to sit on the sidelines and watch.
