@KenTokyo Realise that this was an ongoing project unlike the other completed ones that could be covered in a single article. Many readers, including myself, will closely relate to these kind of projects as we have financial limitations, work commitments etc.

Furthermore, some builds may be more exciting than others with countless modifications, but the bottom line is that every enthusiast car owner has his/her own story to tell; Speedhunters is not just about Frankenstein builds. Clearly.

@Kevski Style That's a lot of English spelling mistakes for an engineer. Are you from northern-Europe?

@Charles Kaki Ng Hey, are you from Australia? I've seen the name in various editorials over the last decade including Autosalon etc.

I would have left the decals off. I don't understand why you would label it something that it's not. I don't like the rear tail lights either. Could have smoked them for a milder result, but hey, I guess he wasn't going for that mild look. I don't get the air suspension, wheel tuck and all of that static, form over function stuff. I don't mind the engine and transmission transplant, though. The colour is mad.

@montreal e36 I don't think we missed the whole point. BMW are simply using motor sport to showcase how advanced driver aids are today. Most motor enthusiasts simply want a car to drive - not a car to be a passenger within one. Indeed, technology can enhance our driving experience, however, average Joe can't afford a BMW. You should have learned the basics from your first few driving lessons and I don't think that many people pretend to be Michael Schumacher...

All of them four cylinder coupes that muscle car lovers hated. I'm tired of seeing hot hatches. The 86 needs stiff competition.

@JDMized  @JustinBeaverFever Most foreigners bailed on Japan following the Tsunami. Fact. Sure, he may not have covered everything but he's living his life, covering what he loves and sharing his passion. Few are prepared to make the commitment so you should appreciate the fact that at least someone is out there sharing something that few will ever experience or even see. If you've lived there, you should know how difficult it is to cover everything over there. Despite the fact that it is a small country, it is jam-packed with culture. Sure, there are better Japanese journalists our there, but most people around the world are unable to read Japanese. I wouldn't be surprised if you struggled to read a Japanese newspaper...
