Just floating this thought out there...what would the trade value of Gerald Green be like? Would he be someone the Thunder would/could go after? He is playing really well offensively in Phoenix after showing the same signs in Indiana.

Has shown good ability to hit the 3 ball (.429). Im sure both KD and Russ would love to have him out on the wing at the moment to pass to instead of Sef.

@ThunderUp12 It just dissapoints me that so many of these 'experts' these days either have no idea or are just too lazy to look at a players game and differentiate it from another. The player comparisons I see on nba draft net and draftexpress every year make me scratch my head

@ThunderUp12 @PaulRogan What has Role Models got to do with this?

@PNT Monta Ellis is not a great comparison for Lamb. Lamb has the potential to be a far better defender than Ellis and he has a different game. Ellis is more of a slasher than Lamb. If anything, Ellis has a more similar game to westbrook.

Here is what I wrote about comparisons of Adams to Mullens and Alrich in another post...

I'm not saying that Adams will or won't be a bust yet. But, all these comparisons of Adams to Mullens is so wrong! Mullens is athletic and big like Adams. However, Mullens seems to think he is a perimeter player and his offense almost exclusively relies on jumpers. Mullens also can't play a lick of defense. Adams is a far better post defender than Mullens ever was or will be and actually bangs in the post like a big man should (albeit it without many post moves yet). Aldrich is just not a comparison at all, they are different players altogether.

Im not over reacting to this loss. We played a good team and it has uncovered some of the warts arising from our new team. We can now know what we need to start working on.

One thing is clear...you can't have Kevin Martin on the floor for over 30 minutes and only taking 4 shots. I love Russ and i'm certainly not bashing him. But, he simply can not be taking as many shots as he is with the %'s he is shooting. Its as bad as a turnover with that sort of play! Everything else with him i can handle, even the actual turnovers because he is the team's primary ball handler.

There needs to be a clear hierachy with shot distribution. Should go something like Durant = 20 shots per game and then Martin, Westbrook and Serge take between 10-15 shots each depending on who is hot on the night. The rest of the team can filter through after that.

KD played great but he can't walk away without any blame. He needs to cut down his turnovers more than Westy.

I'd anticipate he would go with Nike again too...

How much money and how many years do you think KD will get for his next shoe deal in 2014? Bearing in mind Derrick Rose's $200mil contract...

@ThunderBelize  @Keith00 I have to agree with Keith here but you may have a point that Boston's system and Doc may get more out of him than the Thunder did.

Although Perkins has not been great from a statiscal point of view, it is easy to forget how badly we got torched in the post prior to him arriving. We literally had no one to defend the 'true' centers and anyone with size. Presti probably knew he was overpaying to a degree for Perk, but he fits the team ethos, fills a previous need and most importantly was happy to come to OKC which we can't say about most of the other decent big men in the NBA.

@justin_mia  @kennygee90 Yeah you are right about the timing of Ginobili's 04 deal and the Spurs getting a bargain. The fact that Ginobili came into the NBA at 25 sort of throws this out a bit.

JJ at 20 and Harden at 19? entering the NBA obviously gives them more time to establish themselves.

@ou_sas That could be true. If he has a deal similar to Serge ($48 million), I would use Eric Gordon's $60 mil contract as a comparative. We should also keep in mind JJ's deal was absolutely ridiculous and probably the only person not named David Kahn that would have given him the deal would have been the Atlanta GM so could be an exception. I'm terrible with spread sheets and advanced data haha.

For anyone thinking about having a read, it compares career averages (which are surprisingly strikingly similar!), paths and earnings of Joe Johnson and Manu Ginobili and what decision James Harden has in front of him.

Guys - i found this article particularly interesting on the James Harden situation. Honestly, that would be such a tough call to make when you look at the $ figures at the end -
