@Pied@Fot Bollar @Fot Bollar I noticed a couple times this year where DHB played the "cheerleader" role very well, and I mean that in all seriousness. For such a highly touted (see: Irsay twitter madness) FA signing, and such a hard (but predicted by a lot of folks) fall from grace, DHB seems to have held on to the right "team" attitude, as illustrated by his success on ST and previously mentioned "cheerleading".If he is resigned as an inexpensive insurance WR (really, who's going to sign him for big money now?), he and Sergio could battle it out for ST stud, and wreak havoc on the league in the process.

@RyanOkuno And seriously, what about TRich's run around left end in the 2nd half? You know the one - where he had the edge, but hesitated and made the blocked & falling LB look like a hero by tackling him. That was unbelievable.

That was awful. Completely agree. It was essentially a tease of the waving white flag...
@Nate Dunlevy @hankster Whoa!!! I thought I was the only one who had a spiritual experience when I watched this movie!?!? But you nailed it - "god" movie. ;)

Thought for a moment there in #1 that you were going to propose Pagano will bring in Choice (Tashard) off the bench before Richardson and use him as the rolling ball of a thousand paper cuts. Anyone tracked what kind of action he's seen since he was signed?

Bethea's TD saving tackle was beyond huge... followed by the goal-line stand. Otherwise, really, where was the Defense? It's commendable that, as poorly as they were shredded in the first half (props to Smith, who played a fantastic game), the were able to make the necessary stops in the second half.

@MarcusDugan ESPN noting that KC only got pressure on 2 of 25 dropbacks.... phenomenal. Like you say though, that could be more on Luck's escapability (ALERT! FANCY MEDIA WORD) than o-line play.

In the voice of Bart Scott: CAN'T. WAIT! ... for the offensive line review of today's game. I don't remember cursing Satele OR McGlynn's name for the first time in forever.
Hilarious bc I was thinking the same thing. Whatever happened to the "it isn't homerism if you're right" mantra? I know that it technically disappeared with the 18to88 banner, but come one!!!!

Someone made a comment on twitter to the effect of this season being a season-long equivalent of a play-action pass.

@naptown_ninja Fleener & Allen, obviously ... Doyle was halfway decent, right? Saunders? How many TEs is a realistic goal? Next question, how 'good' do these TEs have to be? Doyle-level?
@smonroe Would love it if these young WRs were following Reggie around, studying the Book of Wayne. Reggie was the valedictorian at the Harrison school, to be sure - studied under the master for years. With the fluidity of the WR corps for the past few years (Garçon, Collie, Gonzalez...), you sure hope some of the younger WRs we have on the roster now are paying close attention. Who knows how much longer he'll be teaching? And that first example of Wayne's route running is just ... wow. Perfect. I know we've seen it before, but, something to point out about this is that not only is it a great sharp route, but it's also executed perfectly bc Reggie knew his opponent. As a physical DB, Sherman needs only one straight ahead step from the WR to engage and start jamming him, and Reggie didn't even allow him to get that. Reggie's first step forces Sherman to react to the lateral movement. The result is that Sherman's first big step turns his hips away from the play, and Reggie's is golden. I know you can't see the wide view here, but it even makes you wonder how many YAC he could have gotten had Luck led him a bit more. And now I weep for the games lost to Reggie's knee.

@thellamajockey if there's another jekyll/hyde team in the league, it's the Bengals ... never really know which team's going to show up

Give Sergio Brown credit for his 'hula dance' celebrations. Dude belongs in the Pro Bowl for certain. Always showing up on ST.
@MarcusDugan how much of that is bc of Rogers & Brazil's YAC, though?

Watch for no one commenting because you pretty much summed up what I'm guessing the majority of CA readers are thinking with #12. Sure, the *can* win, but no one knows what to expect from this team anymore.

@Bobman1 @thejoshbaker When read independently of the thread, this could totally be mistaken for an Irsay tweet.

@Bobman1 Can't really group Baltimore in with the "we've had trouble with" group, can we? Up until Luck's rookie playoff outing AT Baltimore last season, haven't we pretty much pwned the Ravens?
