@Michael22 @PaddyMcGrath a German Car Magazine interviewed him and he told them that the had to pay 3000 Euros for shipping the car to the UK and an extra 1500 to run the car in Europe with an US license plate
just the other day I found a seller on eBay who sould hundreds of model kits, including a lot Gurachan models. I wanted to buy one, but I couldn't decice which one so I ended up buying nothing...
Daikoku is definitely on top of my list of "things I need to see in Japan". Great coverage Mike!
BTW: I'm sure that if I'll go to Japan I won't have a car there. Is it really that hard to get there by public transport? Are there any Taxis that could bring you back to the city at Daikoku?
it looked better before imho... but hey, it's not my car...
As a Swiss resident, I can't wait for the "32's Ford in Switzerland" article, I'm pretty sure I know whith who they will be talking with :)
I would definitely choose the "Sunny Hakosuka" :)
Damn, I thought the red FD RX7 was a Ferrari 599 GTO, what an awesome "replica"
haters gonna hate
personally, I would re-fit the original mirrors, and the RE30 wheels do not look as good as the CE28N... but hey, that's just my opinion ;)
I was scrolling down and hoping that this post would never end... so many awesome cars in here. Thank you Mike!
@majik16106 Yeah, first of all I guess everyone builds a car for themselves, but it's also really nice when you drive around with your car and see people turning their heads or pointing at your cas. This gives me the feeling that everything I've done to the car was right. But like you said, I personally build my car for MYSELF, the positive reaction of other people is just a bonus.
Back to the article, that Z looks really awesome!
@Mike Garrett Thank you for your answer! I'm looking forward to the rest of this event :)
maan that looks awesome!!!
Quick question: have you ever seen a Nissan Sunny RZ-1 at one of those events? This is quite a rare car here in Europe, and I've also never seen even a picture of in here on Speedhunters.... I'd like to know because I own one :)
I hope that I never go to a shop like this... becuase after visiting it, I would be dead broke!! :)
thank you for this post, this makes me wanna go to Japan even more!!
@greenroadster yes, he does. Haven't you seen his red Rocket Bunny Fittet FR-S? I guess having a car for the US market in Japan ist like having a JDM car in Europe or in the US, way cooler than all cars available in the country (Sorry for my bad English :) )
that wingless Evo looks amazing!
that Evo with blue rims and blue rollcage looks amazing!
Finish working on my '87 Nissan Sunny Coupe GTI (known as Nissan Sentra Sport Coupe in the US). First, I need to remove some rust, change some suspension parts and upgrade the brakes. Then, I'll add a sporty seat and maybe get some new wheels, I'd really like to get some vintage JDM wheels, but getting them registered for my car here in Switzerland will be very hard and expensive I guess....
really nice car, I like it!
this is a real adventure! I also bought a car for $500 withouth seeing it, but the owner told me everything is OK, so I picked up the car and drove it 200 KM home, without any problems:)
