We love to coffice at BASH and we're usually at Yogurstory or just outside Nordstrom (but their wife wasn't working today...). I think we'll have to try out Petals & Beans!

I'm married to a Marine -- long distance has been our entire relationship until our most recent move back to Hawaii. The best I can offer besides making the most use out of today's technology, is like what shirooobin said, clear communication and the utmost trust. Live in the reality that you'll both be living your independent lives, but that doesn't mean you can't continue to grow together. As long as you guys have a strong foundation, you'll work through it. And did I see that you're engaged? Best time to plan a wedding I say ;)

jsmith013 Hey there! I shared your comments with Allen Farinas, the owner of GRYLT, and he was deeply concerned that you and your wife did not have a great experience at his restaurant the first time around. He'd really like to invite you back for another try on the house. Please feel free to email me your info at melissa@bashhawaii.com. Thanks!

Well I'm one of the lucky ones to have a husband that cleans, albeit, we clean in very different ways. He's not allowed to cook however (ask later how one can set off the smoke alarm while making Kraft Mac & Cheese). Overall though, I notice with my other friends that their partners are great about doing chores too. Their mamas must have raised them right =)

Oh I just remembered my fave breakfast! Blueberry pancake wrapped sausages on a stick! Yes the breakfast "corndog" of champions!

Well I went to school in North Carolina and graduated from high school in '03. Definitely loved the pizza and "crispy" chicken sandwiches (they could never quite get that crispy part). To save on waste, our milk came in plastic pouches that resembles breast implants (or so our imagination led us to believe at the time). I do recall in my senior year, we ended up getting Papa John's pizza and Chik Fil A options -- other schools in our county had PIzza Hut and I want to say McDonalds...

This is why I love weddings (and always kicking myself for not having put more thought into my own!). Definitely love the new trends and all the touches I see in the photos - way to go Nate and Sandra!

No not those (I actually think those were hair ties?) The ones I picked up were $48! I returned them today and I ended up having the same sales girl who rang me up last night (and told me cocktails and shopping always mix) handle my return. As soon as I saw her, I said, "No, cocktails and shopping don't always mix!"ShawnNakamoto

There should ALWAYS be cocktails with shopping! Two cocktails into Juicy and I bought 3 ridiculous bracelets.... (I think I'm returning them now that I've sobered up and realized they're not cute haha)

Gosh I dunno what it means by "self-interest"! I wonder if it has something to do with that dish Randi and I get where we just put our arms out to form a circle and they bring out this huge stir fry dish to us... LOL

Way to go Melissa! I literally just had a dream last night where I was talking to my friend about her child (who in reality is actuallly on Facebook and her mother didn't know until I told her) and how her child was being a cyber bully!!! I definitely appreciate how you handled it and that the teen in question took heed to your advice and followed it. Wish I had that kind of advice when I was teen with internet access.

I hate being around cigarettes and frankly, I'm afraid that if this bill goes through then the places I frequent will take out this license and I'm not going to be able to enjoy my favorite bars anymore, so where does that leave me? Bar-less =) I understand a business's right to run their business, but smoking and secondhand smoking has already been proven to be hazardous to everyone's health, so in this case, I think the greater good lies with banning smoking period. I'd like to see exactly how many businesses that have been adversely affected by the smoking ban.
