Appealing? I guess so.
Am I going to replace my current Nexus 7? No.
I bought the Nexus 7 because for reading, light gaming, videos, and browsing it's absolutely perfect. Something with better specs coming out doesn't make the Nexus 7 that's already perfect for my needs any less perfect.

@MatteoRodrigo @CallChrisNow @richardyarrell I use Verizon because the only other "good" network in my area is AT&T, which I wouldn't mind using, except that it would cost me 10$ more a month for the same service.
1 year, 8 months ago on Verizon Galaxy S 4 Branding Confirmed To Not Be As Obnoxious As The Note II's
Oh thank god.
@richardyarrell You're joking, right?
This doesn't matter. Let it go. The market won the naming war, don't assume people don't know what you know - it's really not uncommon knowledge.

@brenheckman @Jmurder209 Not entirely true*.
@brenheckman @Jmurder209 That's not true.
@Jmurder209 @AlbaRiko That was changed a while back. I don't see the problem. I've never met a single person with unlimited data who actually used more than 2GB. Personally, I'd rather pay $10 more for another gig of full speed data than get throttled to 2G speeds.
@Jmurder2091 @CallChrisNow It's certainly not bad. It's certainly not LTE, and it's certainly not cheaper than an individual line on Verizon - to hav an individual line on AT&T
@vzhater You can bash whatever you'd like about them besides that, but don't say you don't get what you pay for - it's simply untrue.
@vzhater You don't get what you pay for? They have the largest 3G network by far, the largest 4G network by far...that stuff isn't cheap to build. You get what you pay for.
@erikief Such a pretty phone too, they did a really good job with the design on that device. It reminds me of way back when Sony design actually meant something.

1 year, 9 months ago on SatSleeve turns your iPhone into a satellite phone
Do you really expect this to happen? The Y/Y growth is to be expected for a company that's saturating the market, but they've already got a low cost iPhone in the iPhone 4 and 4s models Incorporating a separate "low cost" iPhone that is different than the rest means developing a new manufacturing process, new hardware, etc. - they would be adding new expenses to target a market they already target with the older phones...and that makes no sense to me.

I'm not sure I buy it 100%. If that's really the device, I'm not interested. Way too much lag. That's a step back past the SII

I do. I own an unrooted GNex on Verizon. I absolutely love it, it's amazing, but damn, Verizon really needs to get with the updates moving forward. I get their perspective, but this is just stupid.

Like they say on the website, gold is a commodity and the pricing changes rapidly. This isn't meant to be a protective case, its a status symbol, and perhaps more than that; an interesting way to invest in gold.

I absolutely LOVE Play Music. I keep maybe 5 or 6 of my favorite albums on the device, but apart from that I just stream it in the car. I do leave the "Cache recent music" option on though, which helps me keep things under control in terms of my data.

It's really cool that they'll flash your device for you at MWC. This is totally something to try out. If my next phone is WP8 or iOS I'll likely keep my Nexus running Android, but if I get a new Android phone I'll probably flash it with Ubuntu.

@liszewskishanne The only variation is really in a matté coating process, which comes out dull, not shiny.
@liszewskishanne Chromium is an element. it's a uniform color because there aren't any variations, Chromium is comprised of chromium and nothing else. "Chrome" refers to Chrome plating, wherein something is plated with a layer of Chromium. You're not going to see variations on that magnitude. Image search Chromium if you're curious.
@liszewskishanne Chrome would be shinier wouldn't it?
