Uribe is about as useful as punch in a turd bowl.

1. Joss Whedon
2. Chris Nolan
3. J.J. Abrams, just cuz he loves Star Wars and would do justice to the OT and its characters.
...Wait, what were we ranking again?

I'm actually kind of excited to read Grantland tomorrow.

10/28/12: The POS Giants win the Series.
10/29/12: Chad throws a simulated game and feels good, prompting hope that he won't need surgery for 2012.
10/30/12: Brandon League (2.30 ERA, 167 ERA+) re-signs with LA.
Your time is over, Gnats. 2013 is the Year of the Dodger.
Who cares, everyone's going to be bunting anyway.

Also: a headline on ESPN.com was "Cruz likes where Giant contract talks are headed." My heart stopped for two seconds before I found out it was Victor Cruz.

The highlight of our season was a career minor leaguer defying the odds and putting together a shockingly capable season while becoming a cult hero. The highlight of our archrivals' season was winning the World Series. #vomitsagain
The dark times are among us.

Oh and Luis Cruz deserves an A infinity plus.

If Frank McCourt had sold the team sooner, we would have had access to a higher payroll for the 2011 offseason, which would have allowed us to pursue better players and NOT have to throw out a AAA team for the last month of the first half. Is it probably a huge stretch to assume that we'd have made the playoffs and at least slowed down the likely champion Giants if that'd been the case? Yes. But still, for old time's sake, fuck Frank McCourt.
I still remember watching with my dad when Hanley launched that tenth-inning homer to clinch the San Francisco sweep, and my dad turning to me and saying, "Turning point of the season!"

...So...are all of my posts just getting deleted? I tried to apologize to Stitch, and apologized to Mike and the board in general.

@hoagiebum Acceptance is the first step...
Odds of a broken-bat flare single here? I'll go with "Even."
@Stitch I don't know if I ever apologized for my comment last night, but I'm sorry, that was out of line. I mean, the Giants can go to hell, but that was over-the-top on my part.
Giants scoreless through six? When was the last time that happened? 2009?
Give him a break, this game's been boring as hell.
@HUMAN ELEMENT Because they're the M's.
Gameday had that fourth ball as being pretty much right down the middle. #Giants
