SRAM on a cross bike is the dumbest thing ever - unless you are one of those folks who can make it through a season without ever crashing!! Crash on one of those levers once and the cheap plastic housing holding the pivot pin will break every time! Oh - and you can't just replace that - you have to buy a whole new lever! I guess if you're sponsored by them and not having to pay for them - sure thing, sign me up!! If I'm buying, I'll stick to Shimano
