What's great about this line coming back out is the fact that the hype beasts won't be copping these because they don't cost $200 plus dollars! But anybody who knows how to really rock kicks like these will make them seem like they cost $200 dollars to the those not in the know. These type of kicks get more attention in the streets then a overpriced pair of yeezy's any day.
Kudos to Nike for not just doing a simple retro with some obsure colors but giving this line some pizazz. The originals had people cracking their necks so with these their heads are gonna screw off!
These are a must have. I hope Nike is going to have the apparel line to go with it.
Since the originals crack in places after several uses I hope they have a stronger type of plastic this time around.
So in essence those that hate the reseller who is selling the yeezy's for $5k shouldn't really be mad at the reseller it's the people that are buying them from the reseller you should be mad at. It's those people that are showing that are showing resellers that there is a market for them. If nobody buys from the resellers then that part of the game would eventually will die down a bit. But who are we to be mad or hate anybody? If a person legally buys a product and resells that product to someone else with a markup how is this criminal? Wake up people and realize that there would be no America as you know it without this way of doing business. This country was built on this principle.
And also like those people that bought those multiple issues of the same comic to resell one day didn't pan out the way most had hoped in the early 1990s and had to either give them away or sell them way below the cover price which was a big loss on their end.
The resellers market is not just limited to sneakers. Another example was the comic book industry in the early 1990s. People were buying dozens of the same issue of certain comics and storing them away hoping to sell them years later for a profit. Many of those people weren't even reading them they just bought multiple copies thinking that these issues were going to be part of their retirement plan. Those that were just reading them for enjoyment were left out in the cold after stores were sold out from people buying those multiple same issue comics. Like I said in a earlier post people have the right to a reseller if they want to. They aren't breaking any laws and if you can make a living doing it I rather prefer people doing that then succumbing to other ways to make money.
And it's one thing to hate on the resellers but this is a democratic society. It's a honest hustle. If you had the connection and means you would be doing the same thing. Lets also keep in mind that if it came out once,it'll come out again. Better luck next time. I missed the first couple of AJ 7 Olympic releases and finally copped a pair this year.
If it is photoshop like most are claiming...why? If it is who cares? If people feel the need to perpatrate the fraud and if they fool people who posts the pictures, let em have their 15 minutes of fake fame. Either way real or not its sad.
So it's not that Nike doesn't make enough,it's these people who deprive the rest for their own personal gain.
Make the the whole shoe patent leather and I'm in for two pairs!
(For the serious OG's) your sneakers are so old you can't see the KEDS logo!
