Whether is an unsustainable model or not it was advertised that way and was the expectation. There are many other products on the market that I have entered into subscriptions with that offer that and stand behind it.
The phrasing "you don’t have to have an MBA to realize that providing lifetime service for a one time purchase is an unsustainable business model" is a way to make people feel bad for having a certain level of expectation.
If it turned out to be bad for your business model going forward, past customers should have been grandfathered in or given a HUGE discount on new pricing models.
I'm extremely disatisfied with this answer and with every email update I get with new features, etc I refuse to care.
It's false advertising...period!
