Kentucky has to play eight conference games and Louisville.
Wonder what some Big Ten school would pay to get a home and home with this powerful member of the the SEC?
As far as football. Again, UK is a tag along in the SEC.
Its only been 35 years since they won more SEC games in a season than they have loss.
Suprisingly, they aren't every SEC schools 'homecoming' game.
But as long as you all want to keep paying us to be a 'sure win'. we'll take it!
Since Kentucky made a deal with the devil and hired Calipari, shouldn't we expect to see the so called 'flag bearer' of SEC Basketball be taken with some scorn?
I'm a Kentucky fan and think he is a cancer on college basketball. This one and done stuff, recently admitted to be his actually doing as a path to success, isn't what college sports should be about.
Let him run an AAU Super Program instead of turning the UK program in to NBA-U.
It's getting easier to spot a Clemson fan.
Kentucky would never play in a bowl again!
Without Western Kentucky, A MAC school and a Division AA they can't win enough to get to Nashville or Birmingham!
Camp Cal prepared the troops for this. Burning 2500 calories a practice. They looked like they were worn out Saturday, but not everyone decides to wait until December to get their team in shape.
But remember it's not Cal's fault. Never is.
We're the rebounding and defense from this team?
The lack intestinal fortitude and June 27 can't get here fast enough for them.
I agree the SEC should stay with what it has.
For 24 years I've traveled the SEC to see Kentucky play away games and although I haven't been to Missouri or A&M the atmosphere and settings are the best in college football.
The quality of play is unmatched and if we (Kentucky) ever actually decide to build a competitive program, the trips might get more enjoyable!
I can hardly wait to hear that as it replaces "My Old Kentucky Home" on Senior Night.
Oh, I forgot, we soon won't have any seniors!
Joker and his staff make less than half of what Calipari is paid each year.
The athletic director over the last seven years has alotted 14 million for facilities. Two million a year. About a third of Cal's salary each year.
So where's the committment from the athletic director? Recruiting budget last or near the bottom every year.
Either commit to get better or admit you don't give a sh-t
Simple
You can dress them pretty but a sow isn't going to win a beauty pagent
John, Cal's Traveling Circus DOES play Transylvania in basketball. It's an exhibition game but I bet secretly he counts its in his win total.
I just read Barnhart has spent 14 million dollars in seven years on improvements for the football facilities. That's pretty near two million a year. Or just about a third of Saint Cal's salary each year.
And we wonder why we get the view same as the last dog in a dog sled team.
