I keep forgetting that AP isnt just a baseball show. I'll tell you what sometimes less is more. You dont have to go all out, just keep it basic and simple and thats enough. I'm sure they'll do great in the ratings it just takes time.

Shows how out of the loop I am but how come people hate Deitsch? Why do they hate Morgan?

This guy is right on all accounts. The endings of these games take forever. They should speed it up a little. You know, I'm in the minority, probably, but I liked the tourney of the old days when you had whiparound coverage. Something is just missing now from there tournament coverage. And also, this is a big must. CAN THEY GET RID OF THOSE UGLY, BLACK AND BLUE COURTS THEY HAVE FOR THE GAMES!! Those floors look horrible on tv. Go back to using the floor of the team thats hosting.

@SpringRubber  I agree. I think FS1 is still trying to find its way and niche. I think there coverage is fine but its going to take a while for people to find FS1.

Really good article. I loved him winning at Summerslam 88 over the HTM. That moment and his hall of fame induction should be 1 and 2. The Hall, number 1 and SS 88 number 2. Number should be WM 6.

I think a problem here is that even if ESPN, TNF and SNF get good games, your watering down your Sunday games. What happens to them? I get its for money and such but your going to be stuck watching lousy games unless they can balance all the networks and games out.

I also think people watch more baseball on regional tv just because they dont like the national outlets that have baseball. How many times have I heard from people saying they dont like FOX's coverage of MLB? Not to mention, the years you had Joe Morgan on Sunday Night Baseball.

I didnt mind the people crying. To me, it showed what the Tourney is all about. The raw emotion of losing and you felt bad for whatever team lost.

Gottlieb might be ok but he turned me off last year being angry all the time. He actually wasnt needed after the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I actually thought Elmore and Miller got into a couple of scrapes on the air. I think it was during one of the first four games and they seemed to be jabbing themselves pretty good.

What can you say about Verne/Raft? They were tremendous as usual. I think the big winner coming out of it was Allie LaForce. Not only is beautiful but she knows her stuff. If she doesnt get the TNF gig, maybe she'll do the SEC? But I think she'll be doing something when football season starts.

@BenKoo @Giantsfan1982  I thought the documentary was ok. I thought they had too much on Georgetown, Vllianova and Syracuse. I know why it was done and liked the info. but what about the rest of the teams? Uconn winning in 99,04,11 is not mentioned? Seton Hall almost winning the whole thing in1989?

This is what aggravates me about the Tourney. Not only all the cosmetic changes(having the same floor design, pulling up all banners etc.) but now even this? Seriously?

I'd have to go with Super Bowl Sunday at the top of my list. There is no game with more hype to it than that. Plus, the millions of people who watch the game. I'll give NCAA Tourney number 2 or 3. Its still fun to watch. It was fun for me to watch the games when I used to come home from school.

I'll put NFL Opening Day as well as MLB Opening Day in a virtual tie because you want to see NFL games. Its the same case with MLB, but you also know when MLB starts, you spring and summer are not far behind.
