Psycopathic leaders prepared to instil fear in their people to the point that worship becomes a prphylactic to avoid horrific torture requires better levels of humanity in politics. Greed and power lust goes along with that. Most humans do not want that so we trust that mental health care will get greater credence through understanding the defective human brain.

@blamer When it comes to religion I am not sure about anything. I feel very confident that the murderous mayhem as witnessed regularly is making no new friends for the churches. I feel extreme sadness for the innocent victims of pious hatred.

Much food for thought in this article, I am of the opinion that many of the religious inspired uprisings as made more possible by the internet could have a major negative impact on religion. Many of the riots we see show the intractability of extreme belief. Screaming for blood, torture and murder does demonstrate a lack of piety in any of the religions as we know them today. Maybe it’s my wishful thinking that such disrespect for people 'not in our group' may rouse a more powerful strength in the humanities. Extremism is once again showing its ugly face but there are more witnesses to such irrational behaviour.
I have come back for another morsel of this miraculous recipe. My cat has shown signs of being a bit anal so I think that adding wine might do the trick. I can't wait for the tongue version to improve his vocabulary.
