In hindsight, glad I got out of show business and instead built a theater. :)
As a photographer who puts a lot of work into CC licensing, it bugs me not to get attribution, not going to change practices though other than maybe creating more visible branding on photos. Be interesting to see how this evolves.
The term "tablet" brings up images of commandments carved in stone, computer works for me.

Great move by Airbnb, good things typically come from serving others, wishing them (and the people opening up their homes) much success.
Maybe Google hasn't had a big impact on dollars but as a small business owner serving a large metro area we've seen significant increase in local Google "referrals" in 2012. For us, Yelp was dominating in 2011, but that gap has closed this year. All our traffic is organic, nothing paid to either company in advertising. Many factors leading to those results for us, but that's what we're seeing when reviewing the years data.
Guilty as charged, at least at times, but so much more gets done when I stay focused and don't let noise into my life.
