For the sake of this country we need strong opposition for the rest of Obama`s term. If it means both Houses in Congress be on GOP hands so be it. The country cannot afford another two years of Obama. This nation is aflame both internal and international.

@Andrewp111  Not only a seaport. They are among us already. With an open border to the South, with a weak political will among Americans, plus a sympathetic President they should have no problem organizing here quickly.

A liberal/progressive would be the last person to be entrusted to fight a war. If up to now libs don't know what ISIS wants then just like Obama who doesn't have a strategy after a year of fighting them. This is a religious war moron. Just like your avoidance to use the term Muslim terrorists you want to avoid the real reason why they want to destroy this country and what it stands for.

The Supreme Court, the final arbiter and the court of last resort, have decided. Not unless the liberals want this country to descend into chaos and civil war should stop beating the dead horse. Supposing they succeed in further aggravating the issue further, what then ? Do they think the other side will just let it be or continue pushing back ? With so many problems this country is facing libturds would not hesitate to placing further at risk.

@StephenSchwartz1 @billireland  It is the liberal press which gets to define a victory as a loss by the constant hammering of lies and distortions. We had won the war through the surge It was just keeping the peace through being resolute and determined. They already had elections there in Iraq.

Every journalist and writer seems to know more about military strategy than those in the Armed Forces

There is no sense in arguing with fools who have made up their mind. They cover their ears, shut their eyes, stomp their pretty feet and screams no, no, no. They will not listen to reason. As for the argument because polls have favored that, what if the polling have shifted the other way and laws favoring gay marriage have been enacted ? Will they change it,  because NOW the people have changed theirminds ? Americans are the most gullible wishy washy in the world. They never seems to have that core belief that they hold on through life. When 9/11 happened many favored the war on Afghanisitan. As time wore on and casualties mounted, which in any war would so happen, they want to pull out. Never mind the Afghans who had cast their lot on them. The tribal elders, the women, the civil servants who trusted the word of Americans. They would leave them on the lurch.

Obama should either fire Sheneski or forced him on leave. Obama ought to be impeached. He is useless, incompetent and the worst President in history.

We have offered Iran money, most favored nation status in trade, and technology for them to stop enriching uranium. Which they rejected., Nothing would be more convincing when they construct nuclear laboratories deep into the mountain not accessible by satellites and bombs, willing to undergo starvation of their people and economic hardship by their stone walling. I am not going to argue about speculations. Maybe they are sincere. Just deal with the obvious.

@HomeoftheBrave I wish so too. But here in America interest is only fleeting, Americans are not only naive but their interest is feeting. In 2010, when the tea part was at its height, I thought Americans were outraged enough to effect a change in the electoral system and the type of politicians they have been electing. Apparently not enough. Obama who had a failed and miserable first term got reelected and Democrats too. Only in America.

It is really time for people who love this country, are not satisfied at the way it had been treated and the way it is going to stand up to shout they have enough. Nobody will do it for them. Under Obama they have been bamboozled intimidated and coerced. While not trying to needle the situation, Muslims and their institutions have been giving priority over others. Who ever allows Muslims to demonstrate against the very victims that their co adherents have murdered unarmed and cold blooded ? Only in America. Doubtful if ever Putin will allow the neo Nazis to demonstrate on Stalingrad day.
