Would you say that your "mind maps" could be used to find 50 ideas?? Like have subcategories and stuff?
Do you have list that you have written down as of right now, do you write them down as you think of them, or do you sit down and brainstorm all at one time?
I have lots of questions : )
I like this post! Makes me think that I should sit down and see what my brain is thinking...
BOMB post Derek!

I learned about mission statements in my HRI class! Without a Vision- no mission, without a mission- no goals. without goals- no success.
What would you say is your OWN personal "tagline"?
thumbs up to another fantabulous post Deej!

@byderekj Oh yeeaaah, that's right!
I don't know about starting my own : / My thing is, what do you consider a personal blog? because I consider a personal blog to be somebody... writing about themselves and what they are doing. Such as Chelsea writing a blog about her trip to the Netherlands. THATS what a personal blog is to me.
But do you consider it more like just a blog that you are writing by yourself? about one subject?
Is this comment confusing?

So this is kind of like working with an architect to see what the blue prints are going to look like. Except the architect is yourself... and your peers and the people around are giving you ideas as to what they like/ or want to hear from you. Get some ideas... and then BAM there's the official blue print for your arena. (super dome) : )
I also remember your personal blog... which don't you still have, technically? Definitely a great idea. Cause I know that's what got you started and your blogs have always been way awesome
I enjoyed reading this, like I always do! You never cease to amaze me
OH and pop up thing = freakin cool!
@byderekj trruuue! I forgot to add that part... I really thought that list of suggestions was a great idea to put on here, cause a lot of time people don't remember that there are a whole lotta other things that they can do. like me---- i forget this : ) haha
lets make an arena like the super dome!

Hmmmm interesting to think of it as an arena... location, audience, "show". nice analogy there! This is a great post to try and get people to start a blog, and do it about something they love. I like that you aren't pushing people to start one either cause thats not the way to go. you're great at informing, and letting people know what to do and how to start which is what I'd rather read about : )
Excellent post.... (as always, like I say every time)I feel like each time I read your new posts I want to start something online!
Good work Derek!!
According to your descriptions... I'd say I'm a spectator/joiner. (one foot on one step of the ladder, one on the other! haha)
Cause i joined Facebook... so that makes me a joiner of that social network. (and maybe Twitter soon!)... oh and I'd say I've joined my faaavorite websites, UniqueBlog and LifeNotion :)
But I'm a spectator cause i go to a lot of sites and look at them, and read information but then just leave the site.
But you, Derek, have made me want to get more involved in the world wide web cause you're so interested in it and love it so much! so maybe, just maybe I'll become more of a collector or critic or something.
Awesome post, like always!!
