I don't see the problem.  I like Cowherd.  This site has to justify its existence and hate on anything mildly off kilter.  When you are paid to have an opinion, you do just that.

His gut was wrong.  It really isn't the Spurs loss though.  It was his, he'll find out.

@Team Grimlock Keep in mind, Pop does not have to fulfill his contract.  I could easily see him do 2 years and then pass the baton.  Imagine if the Spurs get #6.  If they repeat, I think Pop must for for the "tres-pedro".  After that, it very well can be all Messina.  Timmy/Manu ride off with Pop, the team is completely in the "hands" of Kawhi and the Spurs keep marching on!

@MostJadedGamer @Tvaddic @El Prez  Please look at this video.  I don't think you remember Scottie Pippen, like you think you do.  KD is better scorer, but that is it.  Pippen was a monster! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJmT8b0z6lQ&list=FL0GFw6IBoxnpXgtRoXTqEOA&index=5

I think he can stick around as the 15th man on the roster.  He's exactly the back up we needed for KLEO.  That, plus Josh Howard is not panning out for the Toros.

Take it easy.  It's a long season.  There are always games where their best doesn't show.  For what ever reason.  The game can be physical and mental.  I don't think we should confuse the post-game language with what is actually going on.  Spurs always own losses and credit the opponent.  Unless, everyone here expected 80-2, I don't think it's time to freak out and mention their salaries.  Regardless of salaries, the Spurs show up year in and year out.  I'm sure snooz always gives his best effort at work, with the greatest of results.

@WOWWOWBAD @TrooperJoe73 The Clippers can keep his flopping game.  I still go with Parker, he's a better scorer and the rest balances out.

It was cheap.  There will be no bad blood, but Duncan will remember it.  Forget some of the match-ups problems that the Blazers pose.  Timmy would punish these guys in the playoffs.  There is a reason that the Blazers always underachieve and the Spurs keep winning.

@gruelingslate @Mike ProjectSpurs Nike did have a hand in this, but plenty of blame lies at the feet of the NBA itself.  Stern loved promoting Bird vs Magic, Jordan vs Isaah, etc.  ESPN followed suit, as did other networks and sponsors.  Nike is one tiny piece of the puzzle.  Also, remember that prior to all the individual promotion, the NBA was going down the tubes.  It just wasn't watchable at all.  Along came individuals like, the Birds, Magic, the merger, Dr. J... Michael Jordan.  Everything changed after that.

Can't wait.  I know Marco B. is going to make life easier on Manu.  Now, Manu has someone that can create for him as well.  Instead of him creating for the entire bench.  That's to much for him at this point.  Marco will help Manu have a solid year.  Great things to come from these guys!

Great addition to the team.  Albeit, I really liked Neal...he was a defensive liability.  MB is not known as defensive stopper, but he's bigger and the effort is there.  I look forward to the season.  Go Spurs!

Serius always mixes freestyles into his battles.  Since all these memory battle rappers have no improv skills, people think that's the only way to do it.  Math has been known as a sucker punch guy and he still that.  He's a turd!

This meeting was not coincidence.  Coach Boylen seems to be bringing his behind the scenes info from the Pacers locker room.  At least worth a shot for a camp invite.  Considering the Spurs have used both Green and Manu at the SF spot, I don't see why Young couldn't do it.

@rtesoro440 Well, it's no secret that the Spurs lack size.  Curry is said to be in decent shape as well.  He was on the Heat roster last year and was not really a factor.  However, they didn't ever really need him to be honest.  Is he a fit with his work ethic and history?  Probably not on the surface.  Can he resurrect his career and become serviceable?  Possible.  How probable remains to be seen.  At any rate, he has to make the roster first and foremost.  I will say that Pop likes veteran's.  Diaw came in with a bad rap as well (not as extensive as Curry though).  The change of scenery did him a world of good and the Spurs reaped the profits of his uniform change.  When Curry was with the Knicks, the environment sucked, but they were also his best years.  Averaging about 15 points over a 3 year span.  It's a gamble, for sure, but low risk if he pans out.  With 10 years of NBA, he's actually only about 30 since he came straight from High School.  Again, depends if he makes the roster, but he fits a need and the environment can get no better than the Spurs locker room.  We'll see.
