That type of love for your comrades, dedication to the mission, and determination to kick the enemy's rear-end no matter what makes me proud to say that I was born on the same soil as Lt. Murphy. The utmost appreciation and respect for Lt. Murphy's sacrifice, as well as that of his family.
@Dhara Mistry me too!

Big, big Stack Bundles fan here, RIP to the man. His "Bundles Hot Now" track stayed on repeat on my iPod. My older brother was actually doing some music with Desert Storm South and was cool with Stack, he's who put me up on him. Hated to hear he was killed, especially in the way he was killed. One of the best emcees doing it before he passed and far too few know of him.
@Silverback He's nice on a hook too man, him and Z-ro can kill a hook and a verse.
@LCpl X here Hey man, do you mind if I drop you a quick e-mail to the address you had registered under your original account?
@LCpl X here You bet man. Gimme a few and let me check into that real quick...
@Old PH2 @LCpl X here Hey man, what was your old account? I'd be happy to look into that for ya and help you get squared away on that front.
That was SO messed up. Girl was only 13 years old man!
But X-Factor...man the entire "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" album was a classic IMO.
@CraigThomas Yep and Denver will need a least a moderate dose of that to execute the game plan necessary to steal one in LA if they take Game 6 tonight in Denver. Tonight should be a classic NBA Playoff matchup...I get a really, really good feeling about it.
@CraigThomas @RG8907 Believe you me my friend, I'm the last person on the planet that will doubt Kobe. But Kobe has lost before, even when he really, really wanted to win. I'm simply not willing to write the Nuggets off.
They're at home, with what is sure to be a juiced up crowd, they have nothing to lose and everything to play for, they're going against an already shallow Laker squad who's missing a key player, and to top it off, they are an absolutely scrappy team with no quit in them.
I wrote a lot of these teams off before the series even started (Mavs, Knicks, and Jazz), and I'm willing to say both the Bulls and the Hawks go home today, but I simply cannot say that about the Nuggets man. They remind me of the Golden State Warriors the year they beat the Mavs as the 8th seed. They just have this scrappy, streakiness to them that I think may carry them into the Conference semis.
@CraigThomas Overall, I agree with that. But you made a very good point about Bynum:
If the Nuggets can get him back into that aggravated state where he turns into a bull in a china shop, he'll be ripe for the foul trouble picking, and with him out of the lineup for even just 5 minutes more than he usually sits, the Lakers will be in trouble.
@RG8907 Nope. Artest's return, in regards to the Nuggets play and game planning, won't have a significant impact in an emotion-filled Game 7. You could even argue that, with the team playing nearly 10 games without him, that injecting him in the starting line-up could cause a few early ripples that may be just enough for the Nuggets to capitalize on.
I'm not saying the Nuggets will win the series, as I think an objective fan would say the odds are in the Lakers favor, but I'm not willing to write Denver off either. They're at home tomorrow tonight, with everything on the line, a shallow Lakers team, and a whole lot of fight left in them.
That is a good, good recipe for a Game 7.
I kinda wish they were low tops with the swoosh more forward on the shoe...but given the look of 'em, if that happened, they'd look like just another pair of regular Air Maxes.
@Emicris Absolutely man. This series is far from over, Denver is a deep team. They don't have superstars, but they are deep, they play as a team, and they are scrappy.
If the Lakers slip up in Game 6, they're in for an absolute dogfight in LA for Game 7.
@elwyno30 Word. The red/white and the black/gold are the only two I'd mess with though. The red/black never really looked right to me and the blue/white aren't bad, but I just think the white/red and black/gold were the livest two pairs.
Man, Ryan, we can't thank you enough for taking the time to give us a shout-out like this. We've loved having you on Livefyre and it's community members like yourself that make us love our jobs. I also gotta throw @coni 's name out there. She's our support engineer who did all of the technical work in figuring out the snags in the import and kickin' em off a few times for ya! Without Connie, I'd have been lost!
Thanks again my man. If you ever need anything else, you know where to look :)
