@john manhole Only one team has won top 3 having 6% odds and that was the Bulls last 20 years. This isn't a deep draft which is why losing record is soooooooo important.
@john manhole You gonna hate draft night and wish the Suns had a higher draft pick to bring needed talent to the team.
@john manhole Beating the Spurs would have been fantastic if we were in a playoff run but we're not. There is plenty to gripe about when Suns screw up in improving.
Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out, loser.
Another wasted opportunity by the Suns to improve lottery odds. Suns will be picking leftover meat as usual from the draft while fans will have to endure more years of futile attempts to improve.
Suns want to improve through the draft? They better learn how to tank before they can talk about that.
I am going to venture to guess we are going to see little of Beasely now with the addition of mook.
Makes sense to buy out O'Neil since his daughter is having open heart surgery in a couple weeks.
It's plausible Suns could trade for Smith if they can free up more cap space for the summer with moving guys like Gortat, Wesley and Brown together (brown could help Hawks now and Wes an expiring). No surrendering of lottery picks though. Having Smith could be a bargaining chip to lure Howard in the summer along with two lottery studs Suns acquire in draft. Suns easily could turn out to be a more athletic and competitive team than what the Lakers can field around Howard. I believe next season Lakers won’t be able to do sign and trades due to their salary under the new CBA so they have little flexibility to improve.
Other than this scenario I don’t see it worth Suns time to trade for Smith.
Trade him to the Clippers.
I'd trade Dudley and Wes, or Gortat and Wes to Bobcats for Gordon and his sucky contract for an unprotected first rounder.
Trade rumors can be so absurd. Like any team going to give up pieces for someone who for sure gonna be FA in 2 months. Word in NY they are warming up to moving Shump after loss to Clippers. Utah has nothing I would give up lottery picks for.
Painful win. Doesn't look like the Suns are serious about improving through the draft.
