what a choice for a camera car, i like it....and i  think its no sacrileg, to take a K20, the mark ones weight should fit peferctly,it ´s

just a bit crazy  .............and i like such builds

nethertheless I still would hve opt for a VW/Audi 4pot with Turbo... the more torque could be quite useful (not to mention the build would be a bit easier )

Dear Mr. Glickenhaus, i hugely respect your kind of Petrolheads, who use special cars to enjoy ,to driving and not to hide them
What do you think about those of the other kind, who hide their rare and one offs away, not using them what they´ve been bulit for, driving ?

@maxproof

your opinion is yr opinion and should be respected. but to critic a petrol head showing  with which mild changes he evolved his brand new 911 to his needs is a bit weird, when he is the director of sth like ´speedhunters´ ,isn´t it :) ?
I think (and hope) there were no ther planed articles which those hve replaced, therefore .....

the black thing could be a Gt1 inspired porsche, or at least somthing with a porsche boot lid
and then this acid green ,similar to the 918 edition 911 Turbo , and then the 918 on the windscreen...

The e-type is there ..good seems for me with the 300sl the 2 most important ,of the important ones
and then the stingray ,the gt40 and the db4 (even that the mk II gt40 and the ordinary db4 would be my choice)
the 250 gto is a dream

what i miss is the mustang mk I,a ford capri,a  Porsche 911 ,a fairlady z, a 635csl and an audi s2

that thing is just sick , in a very positiv way, most of those will never be used as they should, so why not making sth radical and beautifull(in contrast to the org. styling) like this out of it. great pictures btw

on the one hand  it´s a shame , that the delta has lost his own engine  and his 4wd, especially when you´re knowing one ho drives a red evo2.....on the other  when you´re ripping a classic in parts  the result has to look like this: so damn right, a perfect build.

you will recognize  ,when standing in Front of it. It´s difficult to categorize what´s needed for. Astons for example, the only one is the 77,all others are beautifull GT´s but the crown takes the 77.Porsche : Carrera GT or GT1 yes but even a GT3(rs) or GT2(RS) i wouldn´t call a  ´Super´.Ferrari: Just all (even gettin´ uglier and uglier -> F458/LaFerrari)  Lambo,Yesss every single one (okay not the Lm022) ,Pagani,Koeniggsegg, Ford GT,Lexus LF-a,SLS,R8...

I´m from Germany and here we´ve got to prove every 2 years that the parts are road legal

.If you buy cheap knock off parts which did not pass the Tests from

our TÜV Institution to get the offical approvement,or they didn´t try, every cop is allowed to take your license plate off.

To get this TÜV brand on their parts the companies got to pass some tests for stability and so on.As those are not cheap there is less copyingstyles due to the fact that all have to reach the same minimum in quality ,when they are producing for example new aero parts. The biggest difference between the parts will be their looks.

For wheels it´s the same ,but the most replics which are built are copies of OEM wheels or Styles of known Companies as BSS which are already out of production

BBS Speedline for example, credits to the one who can afford a used ,and being in good condition, original set,but no shame to the guy who

buies the replic and as long as the replic producer gots the TÜV certification for his replic, the customer can be sure that this set will not crack at 150mph.

The Audi RS4 wheels are another example if you see what the original Audi ones cost (and those are not produced by Audi itself) and how much you get charged for the replics you can decide ,if the design research is worth the surcharge as in quality the difference is not so bigThat´s the luck in Germany you´re not so free in what you can add to your (roadlegal)car, there are not so much companies you can choose from, but you can be sure that even cheaper parts(with certificate) are save.
