It's amazing seeing how much the Gallardo changed between its first release models and the last special editions in terms of aesthetics.

I, for one, can't wait to see what it looks like with the customary wings and diffusers that they'll add further on into its lifespan.

It already looks great, and judging by the video that shows it's about as fast to 300km/h as the Aventador, it performs very well as well.

@Larry Chen @aussieANON Did you guys get the Defender at all?

If not, the S1 Discovery is a great base to start. Coil springs and live axle are a recipe for success.

All you would really have to do would be lift it, some good tyres, then lockers (although I'm not sure how much abuse the stock axles will withstand, I'm not a big offroad nut).

Fund it!

They're wonderful cars.

Our family car is a Discovery 4, the turbo diesel. Costs a lot of money here due to taxes etc

Damn it's nice though. Tows all the broken down cars we can find on the highway with no problems, fits camping gear for a week with no problems, and absolutely monsters bad terrain.

Love it.

Now if they could only make them more reliable...

@Coyote_ar @Budd19 There was a lot of stuff that was different between M3 and DTM, and to replicate all that would cost a hell of a lot. Now a DTM car isn't exactly cheap to start with, but still.

I have to say, my love of cars was definitely inherited from dad.

My older brother doesn't seem to have quite the same passion, but then he's more concerned with useless things like an education.

I can only hope that if I have kids they can be gifted with the same love of things that go broom.

@Speedhunters_Bryn @aussieANON You really notice the difference in tech between FD and E30 though. Most E30s were single cam n/a pistons engines, and then you've got this (comparatively) wizard tier spinning triangles twin sequential turbo thing.

Pretty crazy

Disregarding that you can't seem to type a proper sentence, are you saying that I shouldn't be able to offer my opinion because I'm not the one doing the work? That's retarded.

Am I therefore not allowed to comment about a video game, because I'm not the one doing the development?

That's ridiculous.

Liberty Walk is essentially just rice for really expensive cars. Wide tyres yes, but when stock is already massive and super grippy it won't make much of a difference.

@Funky Child Honestly, I'm totally with you. Sure the flared look might look alright on some cars, but to me a stock bodied Aventador is way more appealing. A set of wheels, go for it.

Not only that, but they (Lamborghini) test these cars in wind tunnels for ridiculous amounts of time at ridiculous speeds... And he goes right ahead, slaps on some flares and a massive wing and calls it a day.
