I don't understand your question. Could you elaborate?
Where would you ship Russell? To the moon? Somewhere that package would not return to bite you.
Perhaps my statement is based on some hope. I'm hoping that all the players improve, including Maynor. If he plays the way the Thunder expects him to and if he can make as much impact on the games as his potential would allow him, the Thunder would be absolutely hard to beat. After he went down with his injury, the bench performance was down and it's performance (scoring wise) was down through the playoffs, and I think that was one area that really hurt us against the Heat. I definitely think Maynor would have made a big difference. I think the players that Presti has added to the bench have really strengthen the Thunder. I'm looking forward to Maynor's return and hope that he makes a kind of difference that puts us back into the Championship series.
I think Sam Presti will make the right decision. The Thunder only has six guards. Three of them are pointguards, and Westbrook and Jackson are not like Maynor. I think it is safe to say Maynor will be kept. And for those nuts who think the Thunder doesn't need both Westbrook and Maynor are just that, nuts.
