@ToyotaSupraMan It was a weekend toy, the interior was about the same as my Lotus and was the inspiration leading up to my Lotus project..
It was perfect in the thight twisties but twitchie at high speed and deserved respect. 99% of the people that saw the car had no idea what the hell it was. Too dumb to even ask... Americans had no idea what rally racing was all about...
The Stratos is by far the best thing to come out of the 70"s, I know because I was there and owned one...... Fuck I'm old.

If this is a Lotus where is the Lotus chassis fool ? A tube framed race car is a tubed frame race car, call it whatever you like but it's not a production car [Lotus}.
If a driver I respect asked to do a couple of laps in my car so that I could get his feed back is a bad thing then I'd be a fool not to take his advice....... you really are a fuckin idiot

Well it's not a Lotus but it could be cool when done..... I look at projects with a different point of view after putting my Lotus project together after 9 months off the road...Try and not quit when the going gets rough and it will..

@Censport I hoped it wasn't since I spent a lot of time into it.... Did you guys get the David Clark headsets and intercom I installed with the car ? It sounded like a chainsaw at speed, so dam loud inside :-) ...
It's was a little tricky shifting with your left hand quickly with the short gears

@Censport You have my old car, I took that shot outside my old shop back in 1991 after I restored it to it's black and yellow configuration along with a complete engine rebuils after the original timing belt broke due to dry rot from sitting in the UK...
I'm glad it's alive and well. I had heard it was wrecked by some chuckle head on a track a few years ago..

Oh yeah the RS200e was the quickest car on the planet back then, it could smoke anything without even tryin.
Now that was a tough vote, I've owned the R5 Turbo Maxi, Audi Sport Quattro and street Quattro, RS200 and RS200E..

I'm happy to share my old Group B's with you guys... The Metro 6R4 was so quick with it's very short gearing, topping out at 120 mph. But talk about snapping your head back with throttle response..... it was cool.
Great build ... This reminds me of my first Europa and 13B powered Super 7...
