I make a pretty good sangria, and it's pretty easy, but requires something a little special. At Save-Mart or Whole Foods, you can get a Blood Orange soda. Its like Sparkling Lemonade but with Blood Orange juice instead (Yes, there is a variety of orange called a Blood orange, when you cut it open it's blood red). So I mix the Blood Orange soda, peach nectar and red wine, in equal amounts. Usually I'll make a pitcher so I add half the bottle of blood orange soda, half the bottle of wine and half the container (it usually comes in a box, if I bought an individual serving can I'll add 1 or 2 of them, depending on how peachy I want it). I sometimes make it extra oozy by adding some gran marnier (orange liqueur)

A lot of times when using a crock pot, you have to sear the meat first, then put it in the crock pot. Take a skillet and get it SMOKING hot, like just before oil catches fire. Put the chop, steak, whatever in the smoking hot pan, count to 5, flip it over, count to 5, then put it in the crock pot. Then you'll have nicely browned nasty tasting ranch pork chops, which may make them seem more appetizing than pink nasty tasting ranch pork chops,
