I might have missed your point, but from my understanding rour I personally dont know too many teenagers or young adults under the age of 40 who really buy unrecognizable sneakers for the sake of being different. We all at some point follow a trend. Now if we're all trying to be "different" this site is absolute. Go on and wear sketchers, or diadora or find a pair of "Gordan" 3s at a flea Market....(Im sure u'll rather go for the Brand that everyone will notice -with The real Jumpman that NIKE and JORDAN branded...Right?)
The sneaker game has changed because our way of living has changed, we dont think 1 or 2 pairs of sneakers and 1 pair of shoes for the year is enough like our parents did. Now a days 25 pairs arent enough...The fashion has changed, advertisement has changed(where we no longer need to sell to stores)...Every generation will have hypebeasts. I sometimes involuntarily find myself in the category....if u have 1000 pairs of of different Js first thing Im gonna look for is a pair of 13s. Have 10 pairs of Sketchers and 1 pair of Js, Im gonna go for the Jays regardless of what # it is and Im sure u will too.

with all these kicks dropping every so often, I wonder how long it will take for the sneakerhead movement to collapse. Too many foams CW, too many Lebron X dropping on a monthly basis, now they have the Barkleys doing the same. (The sneaker game is not what it used to be)
