@Christelyn @kia No one should buy their clothes from a zombie. I've never liked A&F so this is not surprising in the least anyway.
Fat People? Correction it's fat WOMEN that they don't appeal to. They have large and extra large sizes for MEN but not women. I've had to put up with all of this on tumblr.
I heard he only joined the army to impress his father who fought in WWI so it wasn't ideology as much as trying to please his father. So there is that.
Sorry to be immature but her initials are now PP. Say it out loud. HAHAHAHA
I agree which is exactly why I'm going to school to become a director.
If a guy describes himself as a good guy then I walk away at a very high speed because if that is the first thing they say about themselves then you are in for a world of hurt.
I only got brick in the wall by Pink Floyd
@DWB Seeing as they make eggs from sperm and sperm from eggs that will no long be necessary within the next 20 years or so......So 2 women will be able to make a baby as will 2 men. Don't you just love science?
@DWB You must not have been to Bio lately. Sometimes it just takes a woman and a turkey baster. Just saying. But let us drop this debate because I am slowly coming to a slow boiling rage and it's getting on my nerves. Let's just say there is a personal stake in this and thank goodness Europe is still an option.
@DWB @Blackberry Gay people aren't marrying for money as for the legal benefits that come with having a spouse. Such as being able to take time from work to visit them in a hospital or making medical choices for them without having to have set it up before hand or even just having the ability to visit them in ICU. Or what about being able to sign their child's birth certificate? The only ones able to do so are the ones genetically related to the kid. There are a ton of reasons why they want marriage and not everyone of them is connected to money. JFC,
@DWB Because the U.S government "CHOSE" not to in 1996 with DOMA which is what Edith is fighting.
@DWB Marriage is marriage no matter where it takes place. Especially since you're still considered a married couple even when it took place outside the U.S if you're a straight couple. You marriage is indeed still recognized by the government. So don't give me that "in Canada but not U.S. Because a straight couple married in other countries is still recognized as married here.
@DWB 2007 they went to Toronto and got married. Thea died 14 or 18 months afterwards. So yes. THEY WERE MARRIED.
@DWB Do you mean the fact that Edith is fighting the estate tax imposed on her because her marriage isn't federally recognized? Even though she was with her wife for 42 years and taking care of her with her battle with MS? Is that what you are refering to? Do you need to see the documentary about their life or something? Because it is out there. Edith and Thea: A Very Long Engagement.
Ah but there is a second case up for review as well challenging DOMA. And that one I feel is kind of similar to the Lovings. Edith Windsor and Thea Spyer. Their story is just so tear worthy. The one challenging the Calfornia law not so much. But Edith's case is a most resounding yes.
He had vitiligo so there is that. But I saw an article by a guy who also had virtiligo and he was fairly dark when he was young but his wife was white and their TWO daughters are both fair skinned and red-headed so maybe that contributed to it. Dunno. At this point my faith in humanity is non-existent.
@KingsDaughter @Good Passionate historian. Sorry bout that.
@Good That is a lie. There is still a society in Asia that is fully matrilineal. But for the most part Matrilinial societies outside of Europe were erased by can you guess? COLONIZATION! Dem guns are really really persuasive. And then selective history helps with the rest.
@Brenda55 Actually the title is misleading. The way it's written lets it cover all victims but it gains the most sympathy when you call it the violence against women act. If these laws weren't there male victims wouldn't even stand a chance. So let the title go because the way it's written gender is neutral.
@Lexi88 You would think so. You really would but this is a country where 33 states allow rapist to sue for custody of the product of their rape so I really really wouldn't count on states too much, And actually in some states there are barely any laws against rape and violence so this is needed. The fact that this looked at with suspicion is what surprises me.
