Thanks for mentioning GetViable, Neil. Although an online incubator or accelerator is what we're most often compared to, I believe we're a blend of Incubator and learning / resource platform. What we're trying to do is make the right resources and knowledge available to early stage founders at the point of need. What do they need to do at what point in time and cost o improve their chances of success? Our focus is on helping the 'other 99%' get access to the excellent support and ecosystem provided by physical events, incubators, accelerators, mentors, etc. This is clearly better at this stage, but in the absence of access to these resources, we believe GetViable and services like ours can help scale entrepreneurship. When 500 Startups becomes 5 million, the in-person model becomes a huge challenge.

Another bad lesson from the failed banking system. Government props up banks who should fail and removes all risk from the system giving us mediocre people and companies. We're busy creating a system of where the lowest common denominator is the norm. Great article.
