@WithMalice @jhhein Should I fallow the standard that you have put forward in these discussion based on opinion and conjecture or should logic based on facts be the one that should be set forward , I choose the later to avoid redundancy of repetition. Forgive me for keeping it simple and to the point .
Fact #1 , James has only won 40 % of his final appearances.....though good , it is not great .
Fact # 2 , James has change teams twice looking for the perfect formula that will ensure his legacy in NBA history .
Opinion # 1. If James does not find the answer in this, his third team.......will he then look for the answer in his forth team , a team made up of NBA ghost from the past like Micheal , Johnson , Bill , etc.(LOL).......see history has now been edged in stone by James need ( search )to jump from team to team that it is now clearly evident his need for help to achieve greatness .My question to you is this , does true greatness really need that much help in order to be great or should it be able to stand on its own merits? James can not , history proves it !!!

@WithMalice , heard the same arguments last year at the start of the finals when almost everyone said that there was no way that the KING and company could lose. So what happened after the finals, the so called king ran away with his tail between his legs looking for greener pastures in a new settings . Lets face it , the problem with the king is that to many people have started believing the hype created by the NBA , which is done in order to sell and promote itself. Unfortunately for LeBron ,hype does not always translate into reality . Right now , Cleveland and LeBron are all hype and the Spurs are defending champions, period !!!
Only if the refs let Westbrook get away with murder again !!!

Surround love with the right players and you could have a contender for years to come, Pop is just the right coach to find this players !
Love is a player the Spurs could built their future after Duncan area !
@Rambler , agree but it would also be nice to find someone that could also help get Tim his fifth championship !

Let give credit were credit is due,Neal would jump start the Spurs when everyone on the team would go cold (something the team has a tendency of doing so at times ). A quality that is missing in this years version of the team and therefore an attribute that made the spurs better and that also made Neal a valuable commodity to the organization on last years title run .Few player have it in them to on a consistent basis to put the ball though the hoop when the game is on the line. Spurs would be wise to try and trade for him and ensure themselves of the much needed spark that some games call for .
7 months, 1 week ago on Former Spurs making headlines around the NBA
Deja vu of the final moments of last years game 6th . One Duncan rebound away from from winning the game. Why is the best rebounder of the Spurs sitting in the bench when more then 50 % of shots are missed and his presence could have prevented another put back? I just don 't understand !
7 months, 2 weeks ago on Despite career-high 32 points from Belinelli, Spurs fall to Knicks
It's not about being a winp, it's about adapting ,adjusting and modifying ones game to reflex the normal ageing process.Gifted player as they grow old become smart player and they still find ways to contribute to the success of the team. Your team mate Duncan is a great example of this and the NBA has had many other players who have done this transition well. A younger player is more adapt at playing a SPEED game because their reaction time is faster. Older players that still want to play that way, find themselves playing out of control, which is one of the main reasons why they have so many mistake and turnovers.Smart player learn to play within themselves, use their experience to guide them, and except and maximize their new found potential. A player with these attributes could never be called a "wimp".

Game 5,he was a stud....Game 6 and 7 he was hurt, now he is setting the table for more excuses . What next, the turnover was caused because a member of the other team got on the way . RIGHT !

I wonder if Mr Turnover get's it ?
We must learn from the past to prevent it from repeating itself in the future .In order to learn from the past, the Spurs must be honest in evaluating and interpreting it signicance,to do so will make the team stronger now and in the future.Good luck and Go Spurs Go !

The (lol) just JOKING-both of you have very good point & fact. my thinking is this,- remenber houston & the seatle trade for Randy Johnson near the playoffs,it formed the seatle team for the future.Just hoping history repeats itself in the NBA.

I'll agree to dasagree-but I'am right(lol).
Same responce as before.
Now your giving me an opinion based on thinking from the heart-remenber,bottom line, its a "BUSINESS", peroid. All else is CONJECTURE!
@Spursfan66 @jhhein I agree with you that the spurs are a smart headed, open minded driven organization dedicacated to achieve success, Given this fact I see them capable of pulling the trigger on any trade that they believe best serve their needs.
1)No, you misunderstood my point. The spurs have been blessed in having some great player(STUDS).ice man,DR,TD etc.The spurs are a great team at finding really good role player. My point is that the current studs(TD,TP,& yes evan MG)are getting long on the tooth.I think that for a team to be of champenship caliber it must have studs surrounded by really good role player. My question is were are the spurs going to get the next wave of stud player to stay as competive as they have been?I believe that inorder for the franchise to be able to achieve this goal,it must be able to go beyond creativity but find in itself the strenght to think with its head & not just with its heart.I think if they are capible of boing this ,then they are going to have to make some hard choises to ensure the betterment of the team for the future.2)NO on trading TD.3)half empaty-just my opinion
Agree about the trade part & not the nutso part! One other point to considerTD is also getting up there in age & the spurs are not getting the #1 pick anytine soon-to stay competitive in the future they need to start thinking outside the box so that they can renew their talent or the spurs will soon become an average team..
@Spursfan66 @jhhein I guess that when it comes to Manu you are a type peason that see his game as half full & I see his game as half empty. This is the beauty of sports & because of this I think there are many people out there who see it your way which gives Manu high value. In a team loaded with good smalls & lacking bigs, wouldn't it make sence to trade a player that is near the end of his career,is fragile & still has game(value) for a player that is young & fills a great need for many years to come?
