May I ask what advice could you give someone in my situation? I've scoured job boards and found that many positions require a number of years of experience or they specifically ask for a CS degree. Is the gap still very wide do you think? Right now I'm happy to chug away and learn more skills, but it's hard to imagine being able to put them into practice any time soon. How do you address that over at Thinkful?

I found this article to be very relatable to my current situation! I started learning to code on Code Academy and have since started and Intro to Python class on Coursera.org. I guess I got tired of missing out on the best jobs (and coolest projects) due to my inability to code. Since I can't afford to go back to school, I'm trying to give myself a leg up any other way I can. Thanks for giving me another perspective on the situation.

I have PCOS too! It's great to know that none of the symptoms are I don't know, fatal, but most of them are annoying and sometimes embarassing. Anyway, I've been meaning to leave a comment sometime because I wanted to tell you that I picked up the Milani blush in Luminoso and I think it's the most perfect color of blush for my skintone ever! I'm asian, but darker than you are, and I love it to bits. Thanks for the great review and keep up your awesome site!
