What I don't get is, if you're going to copy a dish from a restaurant ... why Olive Garden?

@Ombretta I think Krystina's point was that no one goes to the Olive Garden expecting traditional Italian food (oh gosh I hope not) and there's nothing in this post suggesting that Alfredo is traditional Italian food, so this myth isn't being perpetuated here :)

I was told that story by a chef in Rome when I took a cooking class there. He also told us there isn't supposed to be alcohol in Tiramisu.
