the poor pay more for everything as a percentage of their income, that is why they are poor. The only improvement they will get in their situation is to better themselves not steal from others who have more then themselves.

so stealing from some because they can afford it more is fine even good. How about no stealing at all from anyone. You talk about tax breaks as if they are giving something to someone. Tax breaks do not give, they are merely the absence of taking. If a thief does not steal he does not give his non theft to anyone, he is merely not taking from anyone.

Tax breaks merely allow people to keep what is rightfully theirs. According to your logic we should charge a rich man a different price for bread from the store then a poor man. Yet no one thinks this should be the case. So why should a rich man pay more for government then a poor man. The bread isn't even a percentage it's just a flat price. No on thinks that is unfair. Yet somehow the reds like you want to charge more to some then to others for the same government "services" that they receive. Why?

All it is is 20th century plain old marxism. It's dead, leave it in it's grave where it belongs. It caused nothing but misery in the 20th Century, and deserves to die.

What we need is to bring back the tariff, fixed at a percentage, and leave everyone alone. Don't take from them period. Ever. It's theft, that's all it ever was, that's what it is today, and that is all it ever will be.

This is an improvement but if you want to go back to the traditional revenue system of the United States then there would be no income or sales tax of any kind. There would only be the tariff.

this is what you should expect, or worse, with a debt based currency like the Federal Reserve Note.

@The Woz I think the key word here is "taking" as in the process is underway. Your right mission is not accomplished yet, however thinks are moving in that direction.

All socialist systems break down in the long run. They cannot bear their own weight. Our current central credit system is right out of the Communist Manifesto.

@Glen_Duke_2 bubbles are not success. They are a sign that the problem is growing. The correction will come, and it won't be easy. I agree the peg to the Euro should be removed, but not because it is selfish, because it is the right thing to do for the swiss people to return to a gold pegged Franc.

being for legalization does not mean your pro-something. It merely means you don't think it should be a crime. This is not the same thing as being all for it. Secondly, there are no "women's" rights. Women do not have rights as a class, they have the same rights everyone else has by virtue of their humanity. This group based rights stuff is bunk.

Getting a break on your taxes is not the same as taking other people's property. Tax breaks are always and every time a good thing.

@WhatsItMatter There is no need to go to the Supreme Court, the Constitution is clear. The Supremacy Clause only applies to federal laws that are "in pursuance" with the Constitution. All Kansas need do is not cooperate with the feds, and send them packing. Hopefully they will.

Protection schemes should all be abolished. Instead there should be freedom for brides to choose whichever professional they want, no questions asked. "Protect the local photographers" Why? If they were so awesome they would not need protection, brides would flock to them. Also there are other factors in why a bride would want to choose a photographer from "home". Whatever the reason the customers choice should be paramount. Protectionism is immoral as well if for no other reason then it uses government force to prevent perfectly moral arrangements between consenting parties simply to protect the profits of some at the expense of others. Having said that I will be legal, not because I respect such a system, but because I don't need any trouble.
