@mikeds @BenjaminPGlaser That fails basic logic and let's be honest. N.O.W. only represents certain women. N.O.W. wasn't too concerned about the rights of Mary Jo Kopechne, as an example.

Regardless of Stephen A. Smith (and ESPN is tone-def) NOW is a joke of an organization that has zero credibility.
@fritobandito88 @BenjaminPGlaser Right, one often refers to "groups" and "a certain demographic", when referring to individuals. By the way, if you are going to correct his use of English and call folks illiterate, you might want to work on the proper use of capitalization.

@fritobandito88 @BenjaminPGlaser So now, not only are those of us in the "auto racing crowd" barely functioning "redneck morons", but we are also "raging racists".
@fritobandito88 So cultural bigotry is ok as long as it is directed against poor, rural whites?
Whenever something happens in a "niche" sport (i.e. - Hockey, Soccer, Racing, etc...) and ESPN hosts and talking heads pontificate on it they always show their ignorance. Cowherd was completely ignorant about what a Sprint Car was, how the car operates, and the same goes for the roundtable discussion shows PTI and ATH. Whenever they discuss things that are not in the average sports journalist's regular beat the discussion becomes painfully uncomfortable. I wish journalists, in general, would just admit up front that they don't know much about a particular subject.
A Ref cam would be a fineapalooza waiting to happen and could likely pay for the GDP of a small nation.

I said this other places but that was the most asinine baseball game in MLB history.

The actual racing on the track has been great this year, unlike previous years. Great races and fun side-stories, but the tv product is stale and boring.

It would be cool if you know we could actually watch the Final Four on CBS.

Would the re-acquiring of Duke Welker be the reason that allows Justin Wilson to be dangled?

The thing is Rose is 100% right. Ty Cobb more than likely murdered someone, but is in the Hall. No one cares if ballplayers physically assault women or NFL players kill someone with their car while drunk. But stay away from the gambling, thieves hate competition.

Good words. The game today is the kind of game they lost "down the stretch" last year. What is really so amazing about the 26 wins is how many of them have come with zero help from Andrew McCutcheon. That wasn't close to being true the last couple of years.
Let the "soccer haters" whine all they want. I'll be tuned into this non-stop Saturday.

One of these centuries PR directors will realize that it is always better to just get all the facts out in the open immediately rather than creating, or in NASCAR's case perpetuating, a culture of speculation.
